It's actually my parent's place, so I'm kinda iffy about having a lot of people over, especially since my 3 year old brother goes to bed at 7. Also, they go to church at 4:30 on Saturday and don't like me having people over when they aren't there. So any sort of Smashfest at my place would be a no-go. I have a friend that lives close that probably wouldn't mind hosting a Smashfest, but he usually works nights. There's a Golf Club in my community, so maybe they have a room we can use the clubhouse or something.

Well, if worse comes to worse, we could always go over my parents house. They actually live pretty close to you (near Crismon and Southern). I was going to go visit them this weekend anyways. They don't have any problems with me bringing over friends to brawl with, but they can be pretty strict in the sense that they will want to know exactly how many people are coming over. So if you were going to come over, then you would need to definitely tell me first. Absolutely no surprises. Besides that though, I am pretty sure they would be cool with it.

They have a big t.v., but it is kind of laggy when played on, so if we were going to have it at my parents house, then it would be a good idea to bring a t.v. that plays the game just fine.

So let me know if your friend or that clubhouse can do it, and if not, then I will arrange this at my parents house.

I might get my first car before WHOBO, it's a 1996 ford escort and I'm getting it for $500

1.) it's a station wagon and I believe that there will be more room for storage
2.) more than just me and my sis can drive, it's would be difficult to dirve 18 hours with only 2 people
3.) it should get 28 mpg which will make this trip cheaper

I'll talk with the guy I'm buying it from to make sure that it's a good idea to bring it on a road trip like this

if you mean matsuri yes, my sister misheard me so now I have to go there on saturday to pass out flyers early in the AM

gas estimates for whobo rounds out to roughly $60 per person... this can vary a bit due to the nature of the beast that is a car. that cost can go down with my new car and it can go up with stop and go traffic. I'd be sure to have extra money handy for money matches and to help in case things exceed thier estimate, at the very least the hotel cost should stay stable

also anyone going should buy their ticket now before the price goes up. if anyone can contact K9 and tell him this as well that would be great

we have 1 seat left and whoever calls it first can have it. WE literally drive right through tuscon so we could pick up a tuscon player with relative ease (seriously mapquest it, our route brings us right through the middle of tuscon)

hotel will be $10 per person registration is $45 (until march 1st) gas sounded like $60 per person but that can vary so be careful and food can be really cheap if you play your cards right I believe that my initial estimate was $115 without food and MM
