All of you people that are complaining and threatening the APEX staff over this are a bunch of pathetic low lifes.
I play Project M like many other people do. If I had been going to APEX I would have loved to enter the competition, though I'm gunning for Smash 4. But this? All these comments? The butthurt? The THREATS to Alex and his friends?
If Alex really is moving on after this, christ I don't blame him. You are all a bunch of sorry ******** that don't even DESERVE to play this game, let alone have an opinion on it.
For those that read this and are one of those people that have pushed Alex to this extreme, shame on you. Shame on ALL of you. In one instance this community is all hunky-dory nice to one another (One Unit for Melee at EVO), but the next a TO takes out a game from the line-up and suddenly we become snarling wild animals. Do you see the Street Fighter III scene or II scene ripping on EVO for not having those games be main events? Certainly not as much as you see the bull**** that's being spewed out of our mouths.
I am angry. I am actually really angry right now.
I hate to say this, and as much as I love the game too, but as punishment I hope that Nintendo shuts Project M DOWN just to teach you all a lesson. I'm that mad and will probably take back what I said later, but right now? Oh this is not cool.
Whether you come from Melee, 64, Brawl, respect the decisions of a tournament organizer. Criticize and show disappointment. But don't be so belligerent as to say "**** APEX. I'm gonna kill you. You're all a bunch of hack sellouts. HOW DARE YOU!" after so many years of quality entertainment and providing amazing APEX moments, we're suddenly calling them the bad guys?

While I'm ranting, I may as well say this. For the Melee/Brawl/PM elitism?
I will never forget Genesis where Brawl was being placed on the main projector screen and the ENTIRE crowd started chanting "**** BRAWL!" over and over again until it was forced to be taken down for Melee. That was in the early years mind you. That has stuck with me for a long time.
