All Brawl Info

The $5 entry side event All Brawl is already at 25 of its allowed 64 entrants. Be sure to sign up for it early if you'd still like a chance to participate in it.

In double elimination, don't forget!

You're hilarious if you think I'm not making it out of pools

LOL
You probably will, but it would be hilarious if you didnt.
Oh Texas you so cocky.

Welcome to NJ, where tournaments are more stacked than elections in Middle Eastern Countries.
this, i feel like 'Welcome to New Jersey' is about to be the catch phrase for this tournament with all of the upsets that are about to happen. Theres going to be all of the established, best players (theres actually a lot of them) there going to be a ton of up and comers. And theres going to be people like me, that are actually pretty major threats but dont show up to tourneys very often. So its going to be absolutely crazy to see the results.

I actually believe that a lot of the internationals are going to go down a lot earlier than predicted, due to the massive number of randomly fluctuating metaknights, and goofy random low tiers.

already signed up a few days ago
id best tell the rest of uk to get sorted
Yea, I and everyone else on this thread needs to hop on that for their individual states/countries

Alex has a lot going on, and isn't always watching this thread. Shoot him a PM!

Have you guys decided on pools rules yet? Like what determines tie breaks, etc.
Pools will have two waves, ultimately boiling down to a 32 man bracket.

  1. Set Wins
  2. Head to Head
  3. Wins
  4. Losses
  5. One Game Rematch

This is how the URC has voted, and it is what we'll be using.

2 pools is enough. There will probably be 32-35 pools of 4-6 players, top 5 make it out or something for the first round, then round 2 will probably boil down to 8 pools, top 4 make it out.

Genesis 2 had something similar to this, so it's possible.

EDIT: Btw, 32 man bracket? A good amount of people aren't making it out of pools LOL. Just sayin'

we are doing first round 64 pools of 4 to 5 people with top 2 making it out. After it will be 32 pools of 4 to 5 with same amount. After that it will be bracket.

As far as Thursday I will get back to you that is last on my list of things at this point.

Hopefully I can buy my plane ticket this weekend. Right now RT to Newark is still in the low 200s . It's for jetblue too , which is my favorite plane to fly on

At this point I don't think any day switching is going down

I might just fly in thursday anyway and subway around nyc or something either way. Many more MVF places to visit than Rutgers
