overcamping in melee is bad, because you will get lasered. If he camped more he would get lasered too much.

Ally beats people regardless, me and him are always top 2 at brawl for past 2-3 years. Anti is the best PLAYER on the East coast besides me (even his diddy beat mikehaze 3-1 after his MK lost 2-1, and his other characters are really good. He's definitely the best player hands down on the east coast overall). Nairo plays the game A LOT from what I hear. They are the 2nd-4th best MKs in the world all on the east coast. (nairo dojo tyrant are pretty close in level idk what the ranking would be). But no one will give them the credit since they main MK which is sad

Well for Armada vs Mango at Genesis 2, it was Mango's comeback tourney after a year or so of him sandbagging so most wanted Mango to win although a lot, including myself, wanted Armada to win his first US National.

You vs Brood? Brood was the underdog vs the best player in the world plus you camped hard so players wanted Brood to win. I'm sure a lot of people wanted Brood to beat Ally too. People like to see upsets sadly.

It also has to do with personality in a way. Mango is just a fan fav. A lot of noobs want M2K to win, but the players at the tourney themselves will normally root for Mr. R, Rain, Zero over you. Its sad but true.

As for saying Brood camped just as hard, honestly what do you think looks worse? An olimar pivot grabbing and throwing pikmin or a mk sharking under Delphino?

how can you watch this vid and still say people hate you/don't want you to win.
that being said, you have an AMAZING agressive game. You 3 stocked both adhd and brood when you were playing like that. If you have more confidence in that playstyle, people will root for you again even if you keep dominating tourneys.

MrR - who cares, people are trying to ban my character anyway (even tho I'm the only MK that wins nationals, besides ally who wins tourneys with Snake/MK/Wario/Falco/ICs)

Honestly, I think that a factor for why not so many people were cheering for M2K was the fact that it simply wasn't GFs. People knew that DEHF was backup to prevent Brood from completely winning, which happened. If M2K vs. Brood was the GFs set, I think that more people would've cheered for M2K.

Uh Jason don't worry about lames hating on u bro. We have to drive ourselves. In this smash community I'm new and get hatted on by fans of old players constantly. Whenever I play singles I NEVER get cheered for. People just mention other players they think is better(are fans of), talk down on every action I do, and never give me any credit. This can be seen in any live stream. Pound 5 and even the latest tourney clash 1. Even when I win dubs with you for example, they say doesn't matter its m2k or say u carried me. They don't have any clue what they are talking about and don't look at how I played. I don't let any of that get me down. Haters gone hate. U know u doing something right when u have haters.

Imma do me and just keep getting better. I know my potential and power level. U do the same.
And sadly on the pro ban matter. People have issues. Mk has forced other characters metagame to evolve. If your crying than you just don't have the drive to get better. Excuses are signs for the week. Many top players who complain even aren't perfect. They are really good but there are still many flaws in their gameplay. Everyone can get better. I used to complain about singles but realized I just need to get BETTER. I went to the hyperbolic time chamber and created new techniques and advanced my characters metagame. I just played Nairo and felt very comfortable. We had a great set. Never heard of for a lucas having a close battle with a top mk. Even when I played M2k in friendlies at genesis 2, I couldn't touch him(and thought this is impossible) but with my new skills we went back and forth at clash 1. See, yall don't need to worry about mk and need to get rid of infinite grab gayness in the unity. Makes no sense.
