I'm back, I'm going to be making a lot of posts so I can address things as I read instead of reading it all and potentially missing something. I'll post my avatar in the last post. I'd appreciate it if people waited until after I'm done to address anything in those posts. But I don't mind if you address other things while I'm multiposting though. ^_^

First off, I missed a question in the beginning. SuSa asked where my image came from.

I went to random.org, went to the die roller set it to 12 dice and rolled and took a screenshot.

But you called it out in such a parading way... like you're totally 100% sure he has some sort of ulterior motive just because of the lack of consistency. I would expect a new player to be slightly inconsistent imo...

I think he was just trying to sound smart and was a little thrown off by people making such sudden random votes. I definitely was until you provided those links... I just didn't post.

I don't agree that I shouldn't ignore a lack of consistency. However you are right in that it could be a scared new player. However that scared new player can be both newbie town or newbie scum. I wasn't calling for SuSa to be lynched, I was instead attempting to get a better read off of why exactly SuSa changed his opinion. Whether it was an honest attempt at joining the RVS after learning or him really just being inconsistent scum. His responses help me gauge how I feel about him.

I personally think SuSa was at a genuine loss of what was happening at the start of this game... didn't know what was going on... voted Chaco due to the lack of logic involved in his vote (he could have voted you)... felt a little embarrassed when you posted all those articles about RVS and randomness and such... then decided that his excuse for voting Chaco was a random vote anyways... which is a perfectly genuine thing to do imo

Yes, you are understanding what I'm saying. Thanks for looking at the situation in a different way, I like it when people add new things to the discussion.

However, I don't like how you've pretty much given a free ticket for SuSa to borrow your reasoning.

But, the point that I really like was what you pointed out about how he could have voted for me. He could have tossed an OMGUS at me very easily if he wanted to try and spin the "new player being attacked by more experienced player card". And I really do like that.

Now we'd have to go off faith here for a moment.

Just pointing out a few scenarios that could happen:

1) If I agree with Kataefi, that could make us look bad. It could make me look worse for trying to clear the target off my back, and it would make Kataefi look bad for defending me.

2) I can already see Kataefi looking bad for defending me

3) If I disagree with Kataefi, that could mean two things.
A) I'm to embarrassed to admit that Kataefi speaks the truth
B) I could be trying to clear Kataefi for defending me.

Now this entire post could seem bad because it even puts the thought we are working together into your head.

So now, as a noob, I come forth to say.

Take it for what you will, considering you would have to trust me. This may very well put a target on both of our backs, or put a larger target on my back for trying to clear myself, but me knowing that practicably every outcome results in a target on my back, except for the others believing me (which now seems near impossible), would I do it?

If you are really suspicious (and hoping we don't have one of those 3 cops that come up with false results), a Cop could merely inspect me. I could cast a No Lynch (therefore being of no harm to anyone) and at worst for me, the Mafia kills me tonight.

@#1: You used the word "us". I really really don't like that. Why did you say us? You essentially attempted to buddy on Kataefi at that point when I didn't feel that Kataefi was buddying you at all.

@#2: I didn't see it as bad at all. It's as if you're assuming you're going to be lynched and because of your flip that we'll pursue Kataefi.

@#3: WIFOM: Instead of just saying if Kataefi was correct or not, you say what it means when you do agree with him. Essentially you're saying "I could be clearing Kataefi" but if you were scum and Kataefi was town you'd be fine with the buddying or some random vice verse **** I'm not going to complicate over and blah blah blah I really get nothing from this.

@Next part: This is all just bad. I really, really would like it if you had just said "Yes, he's right, I got scared/embarrassed whatever" or something. Instead there's a big paragraph still linking yourself to Kataefi and assuming you're 100% sure to be lynched today.

The next paragraph you rolefish/attempt to direct night actions which is always a bad idea. No Lynches are bad as it operates under the assumption that if we accidentally lynch a townie it will mean the end of the world and thus we shouldn't attempt to target scum based on their actions and instead wait for night actions to give us answers. That's dumb.

My eliminating me first, it would prove at the very least that Kataefi and I weren't working together. As Siblings, Lovers, or (is there a third?)

I don't think it would clear Kataefi from being Mafia, because why else would a Mafia member try and clear a Townies name - except to not be suspected of being Mafia? However, I feel he's simply trying to clear my name because this is my first game, and he? doesn't want to see the newbie go first day for making a mistake.

Right now, by defending me Kataefi has put (himself?) into a poor position, regardless of what happens to me. If I am lynched, him defending me could look good or bad. It would depend entirely on do you think he'd defend me to defend me, believing I made an honest mistake. Or did he defend me to make himself look good so as to not be suspected of being Scum?

Worst case scenario for letting me live Day 1 (and be inspected if possible), and Lynching me Day 2 if seen as Scum?

For me, that would be Scum killing me tonight, or killing me Day 2 for not being lynched.

For the town, since I am seen as Scum. If I had an ability - I may be able to use it to help the Mafia for that one night.

For Scum, they waste a kill killing me or by letting me live, it would draw more suspicion towards me. Eventually letting the town lynch me)

Seeing as how I'm basically screwed any way I see it, entirely due to my own scrubbiness.

At least I know how to start the game off now. (Not the way I started this one.)

I want to reinforce this point so SuSa doesn't claim yet. Whatever his alignment is, he definitely wasn't ready for the pressure and I don't want him to attempt to claim so early.

SuSa please do not claim unless at some point you get to L-1 (the number of votes required to lynch, minus one) and feel it is the best action. There is still a lot of time in this game, there are still plenty of posts I want to see, I don't want this day to end yet.

I've directed plenty of questions at others along the way. Just because SuSa is in the hotspot doesn't mean the day is already going to end. (Which is something I really want SuSa to realize.)

Personally I'd much rather see a nameclaim + paraphrase of flavour text before deciding if you needed to claim your role as well or not. But I'll wait to hear the opinions of other players and wait until the situation is actually at hand. (Which it isn't now.)

Xiivi, you have posted WAY TOO MUCH. Literally your number of posts so far is suspicious in my opinion.

You need to realize that when you ask everyone questions, you are stretching a string between you and them. When you ask everyone questions, you are tagging those strings to yourself. At the beginning of the Day, you are narrowing the focus severely. On top of that, you are already talking about the end of the Day for some reason.

This is unhealthy to the game. We need proper round table discussion. If you don't want to simply take my word on this, you can look it up yourself, but this is my experienced advice.

Shut it and let the Day progress.
