If you've ever seen a good Kirby then you'd know real combos don't happen. Ask t!mmy(****, I'll do it for you, I haven't talked to him in a while I miss him

) BUM and CJ's DK's are outdated, MEXICAN, PKM and Phish-it are better choices IF there are DK clips. Again, if i just see a bunch of Uthrow->Uair's im going to turn the **** vid off, it's not worth watching.

Quality should be what this vid strives for, not attempting to showcase every character.

Regarding music for Marth; PLEASE DO NOT USE MAINSTREAM VISUAL KEI. IT IS SEVERELY OVERLY USED.

If you need/want good/decent non mainstream japanese rock/metal, I can provide a decent amount of material.

I don't want to see this video tainted by the likes of L'Arc~en~Ciel, Dir en Grey, or X Japan. I also don't want the video to have any of the popular songs from anime OP/ED. ESPECIALLY not Death Note, Bleach, or Naruto.

There are numerous GOOD bands that are much less known in the states, many of which are much better than the aforementioned bands. (Maybe not X Japan. The band is phenomenal, but I would much rather have something a bit less known/more obscure used.)

I have an average collection of underground J Rock/Metal bands. I also have an okay collection of more commercial bands, thought relatively unknown outside of Japan.

I have no doubt that the footage will be lacking. You did an amazing job with "Take that, Sakurai!" I'm just worried about the music selection. The music selection is often below average, and just ****ing random most of the time. DBR combo videos, and Metagame are the only videos that have appropriate music to the characters/players. If you're going to put the effort into making this successful, more effort NEEDS to be put into the music selection.

Well, I do think that we should stray away from mainstream music and most anime OP/ED, but shouldn't limit ourselves by completely banning them.

Especially when it comes to more obscure anime (you know, the kind not shown on american TV). And we can still use other songs from a band even if they had a song used in an OP/ED anyway.

American TV isn't the only easily accessable way of watching anime. Most people I know, online, and offline know about veoh, megavideo, imeem, and get-anime.

Yeah, I watch anime at Kumby most of the time.

When I mentioned American T.V., I was kind of using a benchmark to define "popular anime," for example, every anime you've listed has appeared on American T.V. I was trying to say that slightly more obscure anime OP/EDs are okay. Like Black Cat, D.Gray Man, Darker than Black, Katekyoshi Hitman Reborn, Claymore, ect. (I like at least 1 song from each of them). Sure, some of them may seem familiar to people, but most people wouldn't recognize them.

Just wanted to pop in and say something. It seems rather pointless to choose music now, and especially if you're picking just because you think it "Fits the character." It doesn't matter if the music fits for the character, it only matters if the music fits the vid.

^^Only if we can find good clips of them. I have no doubt that you'll be able to find Link clips, but Y.Link and Roy (especially Roy) might be a little hard to gather impressive looking stuff with (in comparison to the rest of the video).
