Hey so i'm new to smash boards, you can probably tell due to the lack of avatar and everything else >< i'm saintrage, or Eric w/e you want to call me, i would like to be posted on the first page for the Huntsville area, and put me up as a falco/smaus/fox user. my main is falco but i am working on perfecting my other characters.

i only learned i was a noob to smash about 2 months ago, so i watched some videos and learned the adanced techniques. I am tired of playing PC players and my friend arron who can take off a stock on me within 15 secs of the battle with falcon. I swear i hate that knee ><, plus he knows me to well.

does anyone here go to UAH?

the funny thing about him is he doesn't short hop with falcon, he's just really good with mind games. I mean the first time i played him it was nearly even and we were both comboing the **** out of each other. then i learned to avoid his combos and he learned to predict exactly where i would be if he made a certain move. He's an awesome guy

I would love to join your tournaments at moogle.'s. This moogle didn't play SG did he? or does nobody know what SG is? lol i wouldn't be surprised if you don't.

We got 5th in doubles. Barely. Came close to beating Ihavespaceballs team both times we played. ****!

Yeah, I had a really close match with thief during seeding and managed to pull out a win against Ragnarok (I lost the set, though).

Mookierah handed me my *** once I got into the bracket.

I'm gonna try to go to reflexes tourny but i don't know if i want to make the 4 hour drive without a friend or two. Anyone free this tuesday in the huntsville area? i'd like together and smash then since its like my only day off from work and school.

Man, I haven't enjoyed a tournament that much in a long, long time. Lots of familiar faces, as well as some of you newer guys too. I can say that I played at my best, and cause of that I was happy even with my losses. I definitely did better than I thought seeing how this past year or so I haven't been playing much (especially seeing as I came into this tournament immediately after a 2 month hiatus).

The reason why I have been somewhat detached from the community was due to my ex. She had some kind of problem with smash and saw it as something she had to "compete" with. I tried to explain to her (ironically her mom even backed me up on this, now that is strange) that it was just a hobby I enjoyed and loved and that it was my competitive outlet. BUT, now that we have broken up, there is no reason to limit my smashing. So I'm back guys.

Now for some shout-outs:
Iori: Man, we had a lot of fun matches. Tons of Mewtwo dittos, and we faced each other in brackets. Usually I only get to play a few matches every tournament, so I was happy to really have a chance to really sit down and play yas.

Ihavespaceballs: You and your crazy Samus and random crazy internets stuffs. Your missile spam has gotten pretty ridiculous (cites the recorded vid that theONEjanitor posted). I like how you gave me advice in that matchup after you took me out of the brackets XD. Next time I'll spam knees like you said (hopefully there is a next time, prior to Brawl).

Thief: Man, we didn't get to play each other once!!! That makes me sad :-(. Are you planning to turn these mini-tournaments into bi-weeklies? If so, I'm definitely down for being there. Also, what happened to our smash monkey? Did the winner take it home with them, or did it just end up in another dumpster XD?

Chadimus Prime: Your pika is ****ing sick. I am also an idiot. Why did I bother going Mewtwo against it? You play Iori all the **** time. That was dumb XD. Anyways, good **** man.

Zero: I think it's been about a year since I've seen you, and man, you've gotten a lot better. You had me scared in brackets, and that says a lot seeing I was playing Marth and had tons of previous Ness experience playing Scrib and all.

Ragnarock: It was nice seeing you again, and it seems you've gotten better since the first time we met. Sadly we didn't get to play but a few rounds, but if these tournaments become prevalent we can make up for that in the future. It was fun teaming with you in the friendly matches.

Shai: Thanks for driving me down there mangz. If they have another one of these I'll drive you and Noob, cause I really appreciate it. You've gotten a good bit better too, your tech skill has gone up a few notches. Have fun in Madison.

NESNoob: You are one crazy mofo. I'm really sad we had to play each other in the brackets :-(. I also feel bad for playing the gayest I have ever played (super hardcore camping close to the ledge with Marth against his falcon with tons of gimp kills and spammed utilts). It's just one of those things about a tournament match though :-(. Anyways, your Falcon has gone up in sexiness quite a bit.

Munkus: I think this is the first time we met, although I'm not sure. I'm bad with that kind of thing (my memory is pretty **** random). All things considered, you are **** good considering how long you have been in competitive play. Your Jiggs is quite fierce. I would suggest picking up one other character for dispatching her counters though. Good luck in the future.

Yesterday was a lot of fun. Would have been better to see some of the Huntsville guys show up as well, though. My Kirby was having a tough time contending with everyone, but I guess that's natural. I should probably try to figure out another character to play as since I've dropped Marth and Jigglypuff. That way maybe I could stand a chance against some of you. Hope I get to play all of you again soon.

I know Thief and Iori won doubles, but I'm not sure about singles. I think he got knocked out right before the end.

It was surprising to see so many people come to what seems to be a little hole in the wall tournament. It was a lot of fun watching; I only wish I had the chance to play more. Even though I'm still relatively new (and still pretty terrible), I'll be giving my entry fee away for any tourny Thief puts on down here.

And if anyone needs a place to crash for his tournys, hit me up. I live right here on campus.

I dunno know how really I choose those two. I just remember that I was doing better with Link compared to everyone else when I first started playing and I just like Falcon so I practiced with him.

lol, my zandre encounter is kind of a funny story, and i credit munkus for it.
first match: i beat his falco with sheik on dreamland 64. that was an epic win for me cuz i had one stock at over 100% and he had two stock, and i laid down the pain
second match: he counterpicked FD and BARELY beat me. i shoulda won that one D:
third match: as suggested by munkus, i chose marth and counterpicked Jungle Japes. that's right. Jungle ****ing japes. xandre was totally gayed
gay death 1: claptrap
gay awesome death 2: i grabbed him and d-threw him and he hit the edge of the higher pier and fell straight down into the watery death.
gay death 3: (and i have NO idea why he did this) he air dodged away and fell. i guess he thought he would be able to make it to the higher pier.

anyway, that's how it went down.
