And they were going to disallow it, but I talked to my old man about it earlier tonight (earlier this morning?) and he might be cool with it. So...I may or may not need the cube.

on Saturday. Really anytime. I'll say like 2 pm.
I only have one tv, and one copy of smash though. if my brother comes down he can bring another set up.

Until Vista gets a service pack, it's garbage as far as I'm concerned. There are very few capture cards that work for Vista...I couldn't find any, actually. And even if you get things to work, you suffer 10 - 20 fps drop in games. And there's no way you could have fixed my computer. It was destroyed beyond recovery. Couldn't do a system restore, certain apps wouldn't load, etc.
The best way to fix a Vistarded (I like that word, thanks) computer is to format it and put XP SP2 on there.

where are all the b'ham area people on this thread? i havent played with actual people for a while, we need to play, and soon.
My system can play Oblivion on max settings at a reasonable frame rate, and Bioshock at max settings at max framerate, even with a 7200 rpm hard drive. After I get two 10,000 rpm drives and combine them, then i'll be set for a good while.
The way that Vista handles memory management is different than it is in XP. The basic jist of it is that the more you play a video game, the more memory is reserved for it. That means if you play one game a lot more than the others, then Vista is going to reserve memory for that one game. You can turn this off, of course (It's called SuperFetch in services), but I wouldn't recommend it.
Anyone else need professional advice?

Honestly, I'm kinda pissed that he's a part of Brawls adventure mode. I was sort of hoping he'd end up as a playable character at some point. I'm curious; who exactly does or does not remember R.O.B.?

Jwt2k6 I seen some of your matches on youtube, you have an impressive Fox. I wish you could come to G4S4 so I can get some frindlies on you. And my car is broke down to so I can't just come up there. But any ways keep up the good work on your Fox, though.
p.s. Rush Ganoon down and don't give him a chance to attack, Nair (Fox's) is fast so Ganon can't keep up with it. But just be careful of sheild grabbing.

I'm packing today, leaving for school tomorrow. And my house isn't properly equipped for people anyway, unfortunately, or I'd be happy to host. So I'll see you guys in the Christmas timeframe, probably. Have a good semester, all. Smash well.

well crap, as of right now, we only have jwt, hyrulean, myself, noob if he chooses to come.....and that's it. i'm sure rob will show up eventually. so at best we've got 5 people. i would host at my mom's place but i have plans later tonight that i can't get out of... we might be able to have smash later tonight; i guess it depends on rob (no pressure, bro). this kinda sucks. i haven't smashed all week!!
oh yeah, i forgot: my car didn't want to start on wednesday. that was the cause of my absence. more issues with the battery. we took it to auto zone to get it looked at and it tested as a good battery, so we put it back in and the car started!!! but by then it was too late to go to coach/moogle's. grrrr.....

Isn't Mr. P or anyone else from your crew coming to G4S4? Man, I have yet to meet that dude. :O
But anyways, I think I actually have a chance of coming to this tourney. I told my parents about it... like.... a couple weeks ago, and although I haven't brought it up again, i'm sure they've thought about it. And i've been doing good so far... so yeah.... ;O
