Wish everyone who said they'd show up would have shown up but 40 people aint bad for the first ADVENT. The next will be on oct 8 so plan ahead. Hopefully we will have a bigger tournament.

Colbol has the vids and doesnt want to upload them so it'll be a few days before any get up. You know how fast i upload vids, its outta my hands.

Thanks stream peeps for watching even tho we had issues with the sound and video. Sorry for running it so late we had trouble setting it up

idk what bracket that is but i def. didn't play those matches lol

i fought rekrul first match of bracket

toobz beat me in bracket, after beating project (losers)

i lost to rock crock in winners

uuaa lost to col bol in losers

eh...

lol ok i dont remember all the pairings so ill fix it if you fill me in

the brackets were not saved so i filled it all by what i think happened so tell me who fought who first round and i can guess the rest

just want to thank everybody for bringing setups

you all made this tournament run so smoothly
If everyone continues to support by bringing stuff next time we will have all the setups we need to run a much bigger event we could have had another 40 people in that place easily.

People with small tvs i know we didnt use yours but bring them next time because we will be using them in the friendly room. We just need more power strips. I'll try to find more

ANYBODY TAKE A SILVER CONTROLLER WITH A CLEAR BOTTOM?
its mine and you'll know it is because i've never seen one like it. It's ok because i took yours too so let's trade.

Scidadle - You are a hilarious kid LOL! You had me cracking up last night. Good games too, that first match was really close!

Colin - Good stuff man, just gotta control your ice cream better and you could be the best.

Hbox - Good job winning the tourney. Good to see you again.

Rekrul - You got a lot better since I played you at NOOB3! Great work!

Gahtzu - Good to see you again. We need to play some more the next time we go to MNM. BTW we are now bowl brothers.

Plup - Next time you'll get 1st for sure. Somehow you get better with every tournament. I don't get it.

Zoro - Thanks for hosting, I had a great time. GGs too, Link is too cool xD.

Dark Sonic - Good games, sorry I kinda failed you in teams. I need more 2v2 experience. Next time we battle though I'm gonna win for sure ;)

Uuaa - Good games, next time will be different though for sure!

I just realized what happened in swiss

The bye kind of messed things up
we need to have an even amount of people otherwise we have to monitor who gets a bye in each round. In round 2 brodz got a bye (for no reason really) and was matched up against rekrul but brodz was probably not supposed to get an easy round and therefore in round 3 rekrul got an easier win than everyone else.

Most of the round 3 matches were actually pretty hard and i think that round is actually the most important in determining who will get in or out since round 1 is actually seeded properly.

2 things wrong with this
1. brodz only played 5 matches but paid for 6
2. Bye went to the wrong player and we just let it go which basically gave a free game to rekrul. Lets say we gave the bye to rockcrock instead then he wouldn't have needed to play uuaa in round 2 which might have meant that uuaa would have been guaranteed in and would not have had to play in the tiebreaker scenario.


Lesson learned, I'm glad this happened so I could make sure it doesn't happen at a bigger one.

we actually had 44 people at this event, but 5 entered another event that wasn't singles.
Not bad for the first in the series but for ADVENT II i'm looking for minimum of 60 let's do it.

I knew something was up, cause I feel like I got into bracket undeservingly compared to some other players.

But I played my hardest in the sets that I did have, so that's what's important to me.
