hey.this result stage code is odd because when i put random on it just goes to the normal(not the real result stage)and when i press d-pad up -left-right it freezes the game.is something wrong with this port?:confused:

the fading participation in this thread probably results from the lack of pal updates. has been pretty long since we got something. are u going to port the next nightly pk?

ok, I have tried a lot of different file replacements now, and none works. some just freeze after the codes are applied, some only disble acces to the SD, and others just don't do anything.

can someone post a working PAL file replacement here?.

can we get a change list for the newest pal nightly? i noticed fi that pal-ness cant roll out of psi magnet... and a can we have a codes-txt file?

bump because it dropped to page 2.

so are we getting the text file (after all, the issues with bbrawl are settled now and the ntsc version has it already)?
and why dont we have the sandbag in the wr? that
wouldnt require to port a code, since it only removes the sandbag=money of the old one - or am i getting that wrong?

all in all i have to say that the pal community gets neglected more and more (we had to wait for over a month for a nightly port which kinda feels like a let-down compared to the ntsc one and the lack of ports for older codes (css and buffer=handicap) is rather sad).

but i do know that u only have like 2 coders at your disposal, so dont take my post as a complaint, rather as a request for improvement (at least as far as it i possible with limited resources).
on that note, i also wanna say that it's great that we got the throw modifier on day one. probs for that.

By ripping it off your PAL copy, I ment you having the brawl iso on your computer and using wiiscrubber to get the common5.pac file.

I seriously ripped my Wii Disc onto the PC but there are 6000 files on the disc and I can´t find the common5_pal.pac :urg:

I've got the sc_selcharacter_en.pac (common5_pal.pac) with the help of Qaomen, but I can't make my CSPs work...

I have the info, menu and menu2 folders in X:\private\wii\app\RSBP\pf\

-info\portrite (empty)

-menu2\sc_selcharacter_es.pac

-menu\common\char_bust_tex\ (some MenSelchrFaceB***.brrres files)

I don't know what I'm doing wrong, step2_create didn't gave me any error.

Btw, my victory screen portraits work fine.

Effects don't work for me either, with the same problem =\

CSPs DO work with the File Replacement Code for PAL (I tested it with 1.3 and 2.1a),
but it's not common5_pal.pac you need. It's sc_selcharacter_en.pac.
It says that in the CUPASH Readme (and I tried it out myself. It works), but people keep saying you need common5_pal.pac for some reason (I haven't seen that file on a PAL ISO actually).
I don't know if I'm allowed to post a link to the location I've uploaded it, so I'm not going to post it in this thread.

If you want battle portaits to work you need InfFaceXXX.brres-files, but I don't know if there are already downloadable (or maybe the NTSC-files work for battle portraits?).
If people need the PAL InfFaceXXX.brres files, I can extract those files from the ISO too and put them on mediafire. ;)

Also, don't forget to rename sc_selcharacter_en.pac to sc_selcharacter.pac when the file is created.

Just follow the readme from CUPASH. It doesn't tell about removing the _en from the name though. It doesn't work if you don't rename it (it's the same for NTSC common5_en.pac I believe, since that's where I found that xD).
Now I'm thinking though... There's a _de, _en, _es, _fr and _it "version" of it. I don't know what the difference is, if there is one. I'll upload the other files if it's necessary. =P

Could you please tell me where to put these files?
Put ntcompress and TexConv in the cupash folder (where the step1 and step2 batch files are in).
Put sc_selcharacter_en.pac and the InfFace files in the neededfiles folder.

Hey PK I was wondering if you could either make a PAL GCT which contains both Brawl Plus for PAL and the texture hack file replacement code OR the text file containing B+'s codeset so I can add the PAL code myself?

though i noticed it is missing some codes that were already in there.... like lucario being able to attack out of upb, no freefall for zelda after sideb etc. what was the problem with that?

Yeah PK himself confirmed that for me. And why does my Ike go into freefall after side-B? Shouldn't B+ change that?
