A rankings based off of tourney results? I would've figured that after the last one this would be deemed as an inaccurate method of ranking the best.

Well like... Assigning values to tournaments is just not good. I can pretty much guarantee that I'll make 2nd/1st(if dabuz doesn't enter, and if I don't suicide at 0%) every tournament I enter, but I won't enter that many because I'll only enter ones that offer prizes, therefore I'll probably be ranked 5th or lower. Not that I care about this ranking, I am just saying if you guys want it to be at least a little legit, you might want to re think your method.

I'm aware that this method isn't the best. I'm not sure how to put it any differently.

Actually it is efficient. It's called OTL power rankings, and is therefore meant to represent both the best and the most active participants of OTL. If it were titled smashboards power rankings, then maybe one might "re think" their methods.
