Im also looking for a ticket. If someone wants to sell one I'd be willing to pay a little extra to get one. Or if someone had a teams pass you could drop your partner and team with the best falcon ever :3 and ill pay the 30 if your partner cant make it or what not.

Im gonna have to be the **** here and say no selling tickets. This would create too many problems as far as creating pools goes, and therefore would slow down the entire process too much.

MLG name or no dice, there shouldnt be a pawning process for tickets, and it will just be too hard as far as keeping regions apart which is - in the long run - what is better for everyone.

Sorry people, but im appealing to the people who were responsible enough to register - rather than those who didnt.

You had 6 months to know the date, get the money, etc. And you had a month to register, which was announced everywhere.

I seriously cant believe how many people waited till the very last minute to buy passes. Theres really no reason for that. That said i wish this tournament could uncapped and anyone that wanted to could play, it just cant we are already pushing the venue fire code.

Another thing is passes... This isnt a fire sale, no one is permitted to sell them for more than they are worth. Which means if i even hear whispers of it you will lose your pass completely. We have the ability to transfer passes so those with credit cards can help out those without them to play/enjoy the tournament not so people can buy up passes early and sell them for profit.

As for Nightmare KoRn Kid you seriously whine like a little girl... "A new direction i dont want to be a part of. I remember smashfest with 30-40 people where i bring a setup and play." lol are kidding me. Theres a fire code to the building!!! If you simply would have been like i am bringing two setups and housing people/providing rides is there anyway i can get some friendlys in? I am sure we would have tried to be accomandating up till any point where we are breaking capacity (I did say people that arent contributing to the tournament in my post). But instead u go into this whining tirade like you should you have this big since of entitlement or something where we should risk getting the tournamnet shut down so you can come, hangout, and play friendlys. So instead you are gonna get a response like this. If u are just looking to hang out with cool people feel free to stand outside the venue door and hand out high fives to anyone you think is cool that is walking in. Have fun bro!

Because I have been to MD/VA tournies.

If you waltz in with a tv, with people standing around waiting for extra set ups... It works out fine.

That's how it is, even with 30-40 people at random *** smash fests.

You celar off your own tv when people come, and you're cool with it. And everyone clears off when you got to leave.

I assume because I know what tournies are like here, so just because you've got a conformity rock shoved up your *** doesn't mean **** for your knowledge of me going to tournaments around here.

I also have HEARD what MLG tournies are like. No friendlies, lots of wait time, and **** if it's going to be THAT I'm sorta glad to stay home.

I don't likely care what YOU think at all.

I care about what Hova, Plank, Travis, Newb, Fonz, Aho, kasier, KMEEZY, and everyone else whose really fun to hang out with says about it.

**** that's why I'm not to worried about it. I'm not happy with it, but if Jon is enforcing the rule I'm not gunna come and crowd everything up.

I'm not going to drop off my set ups when I drop off Maine though.

I understand your frustration completely, Nightmare. In my opinion, if you're doing this much to help people from Maine get to Pound II AND providing housing AND carpools, you might as well count yourself as a ****ing staff memeber. I vouch for Nightmare to attend Pound and be allowed to play friendlies. He's contributing more then $20 from my standpoint. Each of the players he's providing housing for most likely has a single pass and perhaps a double pass. If he's housing at least 3 people, that's already near $100, and I'm sure he has more.

However, I do understand the cap of 200 as well. I already know that the building WILL fill more then 220 people at least on Saturday. I believe we'll have a decrease in the amount of people in the building on Sunday. Again, if Nightmare, a member of TA who's contributing this much for the tournament can't be allowed, then at least allow him to come Sunday taking into consideration that the # of people there will drop. <3 NKK

its not a huge deal - i understand NKK is housing people and bringing setups etc, i dont have a problem with him showing up.

His contributions are indeed worth more than the money.

However, the problem IS the fire limit. We have to be tight on that. If he wants to come sunday that should be fine - as the numbers will definitely drop for sunday.

teams pools wont be made until the event itself since i need to know peoples partners - selling teams passes is ok as long as i know everyones info at the event by the time we need to start
