Note: Make sure to bring set ups (System+game and TV)! If you bring a Wii + game, but there are no TVs to play them on, we can't give you the discount until someone brings in a TV that your system can use. Likewise, if you bring a TV, but there aren't enough systems to hook up your TV, we can't give you the discount, but that is very unlikely for bringing TVs. If you bring both a system + game and a TV, we will automatically group them together so that you get the full discount. So, if you are bringing only a TV or system+game, be prepared to pay $10 just in case whatever you brought isn't used.

Also note: The cap on set ups for the room is 12. People that are put on the set up list above will get priority for the discount. So please let me know if you are bringing anything.

General Rules:​

Melee Rule set:

•4 stock
•2/3 sets
•3/5 semifinals+finals
•8 minute time limit
•Items off
•Ties broken by lives, then %
•Double Blind character pick can be called at anytime.
•Stage Ban: Each person may choose one stage to be disabled for the entire set, it must be chosen at the beginning of the set, after initial characters are chosen.
•Advanced Slob Picks: Loser may choose the next stage or select to go random. The winner may then change their character, followed by the loser.
•Bring your own controller
•Controller Mods, Glitches (IC Freeze Glitch, Mewtwo Soul Stunner, etc), and tactics used to stall a match (wall-bombing, rising pound), are banned.
•Team Attack will be ON
•Life stealing allowed

Brawl Ruleset:

•3 Stock
•8 Minute Time Limit
•Items are set to "off" and "none"
•All sets with the exception of winner's finals, loser's finals, and the championship are best of 3 matches, with the aforementioned Finals sets being best 3/5 games.
•In the event of a dispute, controller ports will be selected by Rock-Paper-Scissors
•No player may choose a stage they have already won on in that set unless agreed upon by both players.
•If the timer runs out, the victor is determined first by stock and then by percentage
•Metaknight's Infinite Cape glitch is banned.
•Standing Infinite is BANNED which include (but not limited to) Dedede's small-step chain grab, Marth on Ness/Lucas grab-release, etc
•The Ice climber infinite are LEGAL up to 250%
•Suicide moves always go to the player who suicides to take the opponent's last stock.
•LEDGE GRAB RULE = 35

Stage Striking:
1. Stage Strikes go 1 pick 2 pick 1 pick
2. Opponents choose their characters for the first match *
4. The winner of the previous match may announce their Stage Ban selection
5. The loser of the previous match announces the next match's stage
6. The winner of the previous match chooses their character
7. The loser of the previous match chooses their character
8. Repeat steps 5-7 for all proceeding matches
*Double blind character selection may be called for the first match

lmao, wtf, you don't ask this guy right hurr? Makoto is trash, she's omega trash, but you can make her work. There are some good Makoto players out there, but seriously, she's one of the worst characters in the game and the only things that really get her by are really stupid guesses on what may be the worst mixup-based moveset in the game... and st. MP. At least Sakura has legit mixups, solid frame advantage on pokes, a (crappy) projectile, and decent defensive options.

Can you make Makoto work? Yes, but it's not an easy road to travel. Like, if you really really like her, I don't want to say "no you can't do it" and take you away from what you like in the game, but if she's really just a niche or gimmick to you, you probably want something behind it. Not unless you ready to clock overtime on her.

Now that other Makoto? Somebody showed me a vid of her doing a 7k corner punish combo to Rachel. I already don't care for BBCS cause I don't like the game and Rachel is too much work, then I saw that. And as unlikely as that was to probably happen, just th thought that it could made me lol.
