If you know photoshop it's easy to make fake boxart, fake "newcomer" pictures (someone even made a template somewhere on the net), fake magazine covers. You can do a lot with it to fool gullible people everywhere xD

that box art is so cool! do u think its fake?

Its obviously a fake, why? because the character images are all taken from the screenshots/videos that we have previously seen, that and the background is really simple.

I do wish for the reveal of an official box art soon though.

Considering how easy it is to do that, and that those pictures are already on the net, and have been for quite some time, I'd say it's a fake. Someone just got a bunch of the pictures, cut them out of their background (if they had one) arranged them nicely, got a wii box template, smacked some logos on and bingo, boxart.

There's no Mario Fireball suit so it sucks. And there is no Red Cap, Red Dungarees and blue shirt, like the original arcade.
