For those who haven't heard.

Sherlock Doom took first in doubles. MJG and Domo took 4th. (At Oh Snap).

At Joker's , Fino tied for first in singles. Fino and myself took second in doubles.

They'll have the results up if they haven't already.

BTW, go to GameStop and download Shiny Entei via Mystery Gift on WiFi to your Generation IV Pokémon game(s). The event ends this Sunday.

lol who told you that? Been wire tapping me or something? I mentioned it offhandedly to Zeton the other day, but yeah I might be playing in doubles, probably won't in singles. We could team up in that case. Nobody else wanted to team with you?

Well, guess I'll just have to breed one with Hidden Power Ice.

Also, I think a few people here will get the water starter.

I dunno, I think Tmacc said something about it. I haven't really asked anyone else yet because I didn't realize Future wasn't going until yesterday. Anyway, you should try to find out soon if you're gonna be doing doubles. I'd like to try your G&W with my DDD!

I just realized that when Black and White come out, we're all going to be fighting Serperior dittos.
I'm definitely starting out with Oshawott.

Serperior's stats just look so meh :( and it's grass, and traditionally I don't use grass Pokemon much unless it's a dual type like Ludicolo.

'Funny how a couple sites like Serebii and Bulbagarden still have the fully evolved starters listed as their Japanese names.

Tmacc, do you use Sceptile???

Nah, I've never used one, I've always started with Blaziken or Swampert, and I don't use any of the three on a competitive team.

All of the Hoenn starters were really good, they were all OU in 3rd gen but overall they were all good

lol It's all good. Now that I think about it, I've been more of a grass starter in all the games I've played.

When I'm Leaf Storming over your Swampert's face I'm going to look you right in the eye with this face.

Then I'm gonna say "Where's your faith in 3rd gen now?! WHERE IS IT?!" This is serious bidness!:awesome:

Feraligatr ain't faster than Jalorda. Leaf Storm + Antagonist will triple Jalorda's Sp. Atk if Feraligatr doesn't go down in one hit. And by then, if Typhlosion isn't holding a choice scarf, it's going down too.

My competitive game sucks, man. You'd mop the floor on me. I can't even get past 50 trainers in a row in the stupid Trainer/Battle Tower.

It's only hard because Pokemon is so random and gay and you lose to ****ing Delcatty or some **** because it just does sand attack and then you can NEVER HIT IT!!!!!!!1111

This the battle frontier be cheating with them focus bands, brightpowder, and stupid toxic double team stall sets with protect.

you cant? O.o that isnt even hard, i have passed a hundred a couple of times x.x
Get this.

My Garchomp uses Dragon Rush on enemy Crawdaunt. It somehow survives. It uses Guillotine, and it misses. I'm about to win, then its accursed Quick Claw activates and uses Guillotine again and hits. Mind you a sandstorm was active and Garchomp had Brightpowder.

Also, wtf on this hax Tyranitar outrunning my high speed Starmie? No Quick Claw or what have you.

Another one: the dreaded Walrein with that 100% accurate Sheer Cold and that Quick Claw that activates every two turns. No reason using protect or detect against that sucker.

One more thing. I had two pokemon left in dubs vs this stupid registeel that used double team just once and I could never hit it again. My pokemon that had no miss attacks were already one-shot'd earlier. Then it just decides to blow itself up and take my pokemon out in the process, winning the match.

BULLCRAP. ALL OF IT.

That game makes me RQ harder than Brawl does.

perhaps if you got rid of that garbage move dragon rush and substituted in outrage you would ****. i will list my team

TYPHOON aka garchomp
jolly nature with focus sash
max speed max attack evs
has one below max speed and like twenty five attack ivs

outrage
earthquake
crunch - this can and probably be switched for fire fang
swords dance

Seawolf aka vaporeon
modest nature with chesto berry
max sp attack, mix hp and def evs
max sp attack ivs, high hp ivs

surf
ice beam
acid armor
rest

Magnezone - forgot to name before transfering from emerald
modest nature with wise glasses
max sp attack max speed evs - reason for speed evs is listed below
max speed and max sp attack ivs - figured i woul dmax its speed and at 216 speed its surprisingly fast

thunderbolt
flash cannon
tri attack
magnet rise

lead with garchomp, earthquake is used for things weak to it, if not swords dance once and sweep

vaporeon is a tank with good sp attack (349) and with a couple acid armors is more or less immune to anything not grass or electric and can really wreck

magnezone is a generic special sweeper that pwns everything with its near four hundred sp attack and surprising speed. with magnet rise it can outspeed most things with earthquake, and can really damage stuff

this combo has served me well in tower for a long time, and has gotten me over a hundred wins a couple times

We won tonight, so I probably won't get to enter this tournament... But we won!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! )Unless I can still enter at like 9 or 10, which is highly unlikely). I know I'll still be there on Sunday regardless, but I'll probably text somebody to find out how everything's going Saturday night and maybe show up.
