    The way KFC treats Colonel Sanders these days is horrible. They completely disregard him as an actual person with a legacy and turn him into a fictional jokester - I'm guessing because he openly spoke out against the company he started. They're no better than PETA vandalising his grave (yes, they did that once.)

    There's something hilarious to me about how people who joke about minorities "being easily offended" will get SUPER offended over trivial things - like, they'll say the wage gap, for example, is a "trivial issue" and that women should "get over it"/"deal with it" then get angry because a grown man dresses up as a baby in his own time. Where's the logic in that?

    Giga Wrecker Alt was the most disappointing game I've ever played in my life, albeit not by fault of the game - I didn't realise it was a Metroidvania when I brought it and just sorta defaulted to "Game Freak + female character + destroying things = Drill Dozer"

    No idea, but I do know that the 10s' trends will still linger for the first few years, including hoverboards, gender reveals, dabbing, the Floss, and whatever the heck a Bucket List is.

    Hoverboards died out within the first year of two of their introduction, mainly due to their safety concerns. However, dabbing and flossing are two trends that need to die ASAP. And this is coming from someone who still plays and enjoys Fortnite.

    I prefer the "muscleman pose" that involves pointing your arms diagonally upwards, which is what the dab is a slight corruption of. You don't see where your arms are going in the dab.

    I remember I used to have a friend who I had a lot in common with, but he was very impressionable, probably had some sort of medium-functioning autism, and he LOVED edgy-but-shallow humour like Dorkly Bits and Caillou Gets Grounded and would constantly repeat all the quotes - one "Could this be it, the pervert family pet?" (I have no clue where that quote came from) too many and I ended that friendship.

    Every niche YouTube channel is going to start an obnoxiously popular meme that eventually gets completely detached from the channel at some point - OneyPlays had Woah, SiIvaGunner had We Are Number One and I'm pretty sure Ugandan Knuckles came from a rather obscure game review channel too.

    I wouldn't be opposed to Freddy Fazbear as a fighter. I'm not a big FNaF fan at all, but I feel Freddy could have a good moveset - in fact, I think he'd be the best possible horror rep IMO since he uses his bear hands (get it?) instead of a sword or a knife, could be unique as a super-fast superheavy and wouldn't have to be censored much given he comes from a relatively kid-friendly series with barely any controversial themes. (That's why I'm against Monika - her game is all about suicide so it could draw some really bad attention to Smash)

    through I'm only game if they don't wimp out with the jumpscares.

    I like how the Genesis Mini’s advertisement tries to bring back the classic “Genesis does what nintendon’t” even though the Genesis mini was Sega’s way of capitalizing on the success of something Nintendo did

    Have you ever heard of Grizzly Tales? It's a British kids' show that's literally about children dying. That's the plot of the show - a child does something mildly annoying for their parents and gets killed. I like some pretty messed up stuff (hell, we're on a forum about a game where you can blow up children and dogs with high class military weapons) but I draw the line at a show telling kids that they'll be murdered and eaten if they don't eat spaghetti. Oh no, I'm not exaggerating, that was an actual episode - Season 1 Episode 2, "The Spaghetti Man".

    And people said Ren and Stimpy was dark...

    Let's say I'm a game dev - I'm not (yet), but still: if Sakurai approached me about adding a character I created to Smash I'd go with one of two options, either: 1. request Muddy Mole or Jill (Drill Dozer) be in the game instead of my character, or 2. allow Sakurai to add my character but only if I can make their trailer and make it the biggest, most unprofessional ****post ever.

    There's something so wholesome about those "fanon" wikis where people, usually kids, write up their ideas for sequels to their favourite obscure retro games - especially the ones where they're meticulous enough to detail things like the unused content and marketing of their ideal Dynamite Headdy 14 or Gex/Klonoa racing game crossover.

    This is why emulation and re-releases are important - to inspire future generations of game designers. Maybe some day in the future one of these very special kids will release their own 3D platformer sequel to Trevor McFur in the Crescent Galaxy!

    Bubsy: Paws on Fire! is one of the most underrated (not overlooked mind you, just underrated) games on Switch - it's way better than people say it is and honestly I feel people only dislike it because Bubsy's in it.

    I remember how users on Miiverse (specifically the Smash Bros, Wii Fit U and New Super Luigi U communities) used to have "Bikini Weeks" or something like that, and I had a ton of fun reporting them.

    I know right? Honestly, it's probably a good thing that it is gone. I did meet a few friends there though so I do have a lot of fond memories of the place.

    I remember the Miiverse stage back in the day. People used to draw some very "special" content there. Mainly tiddie and peen jokes, but I remember one quote someone left for Mr. Game and Watch players: "G&W is flat like Lucina's chest!"

    I also remember this one guy drawing the Crash Bandicoot "WOAH!" meme face for every character shortly before Miiverse shut down.

    Though I'm glad it shut down, there was a lot of good artwork that some users would draw for certain games, especially the Pokémon community.
