I think I just over work to impress people

I really enjoy recording for youtube. I used to watch tournament videos of Smash for 2 years before going to my first tournament

I might be able to g to KTAR6. It all depends on if I can get a job during the Summer, but the Summer's already half over. My parents don't like me being useless and spending money (that I can't re-earn). I work under a temp job agency at least, but that's not the same as a regular job

I've always wanted to go to a KTAR. Everything looks so hype

However, it might be the last or second last tournament I seriously record at. At /HOPE 3 yesterday, I've really started to regret what I do more. I'm missing out on interacting with the community in person. I can't even do shout outs after a tournament. My secret plan through all my video uploading is to get more players who are interested in competitive Smash to join the competitive scene. In all my video descriptions I mention where the event took place (during my 2 years of watching tournament videos on youtube, I had no idea ChuDat's and Sypher's tournaments were within biking distance of my house). And I post the video/results and tournament thread to reinforce viewers to check out Smashboards (The only forum for Smash I used to go to was the Nsider2 forums, which only lasted a while)

What I want soon is to be a competitor again. I want to be there at the tournament more. 1 of my best memories was from my second tournament. The tournament had a draft crew battle of 22 players total. When I played my 4 stocks, I had my team cheering behind me. It's a feeling like nothing else. I really want to feel that magic again


I still love recording for youtube and I still plan on doing it, It's just that soon I'm only going to record players who are equal or better than me (during/after I get eliminated)

I heard that you cycle through quite a bit of Brawl music. I'm running a music project to acquire a community music pack for tournaments and I was wondering if you would like to donate any music (current or old, doesn't matter) to the project? I'm trying to capture everyone's taste in Brawl music, so it'd be a lot of help if you can donate anything to the cause.

I use EyeTV for the Mac. After some adjustments it says it should be recording at 60 fps

But I'm not sure if it's 720p. I use the Wii component cables and the wii is set at 480. Maybe it's just 480p being ran at 60 fps?

You Keit. I think I figured out how to record Brawl at 60 FPS. Is that what makes the quality of the videos so good or is there another aspect as well?

Do you know how to set up HD recordings? I saw some of the vids on your channel in HD and was wondering how its done.

I have my sound taken from my HD PVR, then drag and drop as necessary.

Yeah, I'm only about to start emulator recording and I've got big plans ahead. The first thing I need is financing. I plan on buying a 1920x1080 monitor to give me the highest (practical) pixel resolution and a non-broken Wii so I can hack it for force replay saves. I'll need a job and a job might takeover my Saturdays. Hopefully someone hires me for morning shifts

Then for more hackery I could get custom designed stages and music. I don't plan on giving the characters any custom textures because it creates too many conflicting art styles. The team texture hacks for Sonic and Lucario would be an exception. They make teams easier to see
