This was only connecting with the foot, it's probably worse on the edges of the purple stuff, of course.

I think the best way to start is by taking the angle way down from it's current 60-70 degrees to 20-30. While the wizkick killed Mario with DI at 230%, I could survive it and recover with no difficulty at 229%. Forcing the opponent to recover low will lead to **** Vulture kick edge guards, stomps, crotches, etc. and make more of a gradient between the current binary kill / no kill.
