    Just wondering, would you recommend that I try out a Newbie Mafia before joining an (for lack of a better term) actual Mafia game?

    Like I said, I understand the game, it's just that from reading a lot of the Mafia games done here in the past, it seems kind of deep (at least with my level of intellect :p)

    Yeah. It's not always easy to take a mature view when you're feeling unloved. The best way to get over it is to just be vulnerable with people. I'm starting to learn that more and let that pull me out of myself. It's tough.

    What you posted on that kid's birthday thread was really true, even if he doesn't want to listen. I used to think a lot like him, honestly. I used to hate my birthdays because my friends never did anything for me and I felt ignored by my parents. I finally sucked it up and just told my friends that it really bothered me. What happened this year? They threw me a surprise party. Sure it was kinda lame and most people couldn't make it--but they did something for me for once.

    Not everyone has close friends who do that stuff on their own initiative, but everyone can go out and change that if they open themselves up. What you wrote to him was really true, and I say that because I really know where he's coming from.

    When we had Linux (we had to give her back because she attacked PC and so it wasn't good) we kept making the jokes that Linux was not compatible with PC. Haha. I was pulling for Pentium and Athelon (sp?) but no one jumped on that bandwaggon. :p

    The last time PC ever caught anything was a lizard... And I'm sitting in the chair and I hear her meow and I look over and the back end of one is hanging out her mouth. She looks at me and then goes back in the other room where the lizard disappears. >.> And then proceeds to attempt to give me kisses when she's done. Gross. Haha.
