    It's good. I think it's really well-written, and it's building up a good story. I like how you introduced enough so that the reader isn't completely lost, but you don't know who the boy is, why he killed Grumio, who it was that told him to kill him...etc. I'd love to see the second chapter once you put it up. I also love the title, I love Latin.

    I have one related to it, though; are you taking/have you taken Latin? And if so, are you using/did you use the Cambridge Latin series? I noticed the Latin and the name "Grumio" and I couldn't help but see the connection. Of course, if there is none and I'm just crazy, ignore me, but it popped into my mind and I had to ask.
