Again, everyone's human, but I mean, couldn't the same be said then for ICs and Peach? ICs get a grab and it can easily be a stock, so I don't see how much that helps.

Hmmm, maybe Sheik/Falcon. Probably one of those.

This matchup is so odd to me. Sheik has good anti-pressure, tech chase, and gimp options and Falco has great combos and edgeguards on Sheik. The matchup is based on how well Sheik can get a grab really, just like in the Falco vs Marth matchup. Of course, if Sheik camps with needles and does stuff like Nair OOS then it'll be hard for Falco to get inside to combo. That's why this matchup is so weird. They both force the other to play a little differently.

In my honest opinion, I think Sheik might beat Falco due to the fact that she can gimp him while he has to rack up damage to win. Sheik also recovers much better than Falco, so she'll probably live longer than him.

To be fair, Falco can simply mix up when he wants to Dair or whatever with laser pressure and Sheik will have a hard time stopping him, even with needles (assuming the Falco player is fully conscious of them). Falco's combos are very effective vs Sheik, and he can just getup from ledge to Dsmash Sheik most of the time for edgeguards.

I have no idea what to rate this matchup other than 50-50 really. I could see it fluctuate a little either way though.

Alright, well Sheik has has a sort of stagnant metagame after KDJ blew minds with his Sheik. Granted Sheik is fairly easy to play, it's all about little tricks and consistency and stuff like that that make Sheiks different from on another.

Another problem is that there isn't a great Sheik that's really active lately to make a Sheik main's presence known (Drephen resides in the MW until Genesis and then back to MW I don't wanna hear it). People don't recognize how good a character one like Sheik is unless it beats someone good who mains a different but also good character.

This leads me to the fact that the best players aren't playing Sheik. Wanna know why?

Because the very top players are playing Marth and Fox right now, Sheik's potential is sort of untapped right now and is only now being explored to a degree by M2K and Mango as CPs, which goes to show that they know they might need said characters vs each other or someone else who gets good in the future and Sheik is no slouch in any matchup (not even Falco, f*ck that 60-40 bull).
