  • I think we'll be teaming.

We should get a legitimate strategy going here. We can't afford to have another Billfest performance here.
    Ali isn't teaming with me.

Do you mind if I explored my other options first though?

Also, it would really suck if you didn't enter singles since we'll be gone for so long after HERB. Just sayin.
I think so. The discussion about it sucked but I'm pretty sure it is. Just tattle on them and it should be all good. Oh and there's that silly Japanese ledge grab rule. LOL Japan.
It's fine man. We get the dorr fee cut some for it, so it's all good.

    Definitely do singles.

    I'll help you guys eat.
Oh right....I'll just have to leave earlier so I can get you at your house then lol.

    F-Zero: Grand Prix.
    K, this is what's happening:

I pick you and Jim up at the wherever off of I-85 like I usually do ASAP after school Friday (like 5 or 5:30 I hope). From there we drive till we wanna eat. We eat.

From there we drive to Chapel Hill. We'll probably go straight to Karn's place to practice up, then head over to Ace's for a little more smash before sleeping.

We wake up and eat on Friday. I'm thinking Waffle House if it's close but I don't remember if it is. If not, we might just smash till Mcdonalds gets their lunch menu going.

From wherever we eat we go the tournament. No clue what happens for the rest of the day.

We sleep at the hotel that night. I get a sleeping bagand you and Jim'll share the King-size bed. No johns.

I go to church as early as possible Sunday morning, and get back in time for us to eat somewhere in Gboro then back to the hotel for smashage.

At the end of the day (hopefully no later than 10 or 11), we have to drive back. School johns. No I'm not skipping. No. NOOO. No. Nonononononononono

I get my game back from Jim. XD
Alrighty then, Falco critique it is.

    I'm doing this match: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kDe66SzB1SY&feature=channel_page

0:23- hopping towards him is not a good idea when he has the advantage. He's going to keep pressuring you, most likely. SH back and laser maybe to see if he'll go too far in so you can Dair or shieldgrab or whatever.

    0:25-0:27- work on laz0rs

0:32- tech, DI, and react. Things to work on there.

0:37- the roll back was kinda iffy imo, but you gotta work on your lasers bro. retreat them at least because GaW has great aerial speed, which is really hurting you right now.

0:40-shield over spotdodge because spotdodge won't dodge Bair and it shield also covers his key too. Be more patient instead of always focusing on getting that quick counterattack.

0:51- Fthrow doesn't really seem like a good choice here to me because GaW does have invincibility on his up-B anyway. I guess it's good for chip damage. Maybe work on your hugging tricks?

0:54- Fair is bad vs GaW imo.

0:56- You know that he's gonna either shield or run after all of that to regain a sense of control over the situation. Just phantasm onto the stage.

1:09- Why did you walk towards him and roll away when you could've grabbed??? At least attack at that point because he'll probably try to spotdodge or jump OOS or roll or something.

1:26- Walling with Bair? Not good when your opponent can PS (which is easy).

    1:32- Laser Upsmash

    1:37- Hyphen Smash

    1:48- Downsmash or Upsmash

2:13- Jab follow-ups are not a good idea against most of the top tiers. They're either going to AD or use a high-priority move. Space an Ftilt at best or shield. *Correction* you could jab, but you'd have to condition your opponent to think you're going to shield or space.

2:29- You don't outprioritize that. Empty SHFF so you can bait that, then punish.

3:10- Don't you usually phantasm away from the edge to relieve pressure? Instan aerial phantasm or whatever they call it next time too btw.

3:16- Don't get greedy, and don't use Fair above the stage.

3:23- Was that supposed to bait an AD? He hasn't gotten punished for a Dair almost the entire match, so don't think he'd be afraid to be punished now.

3:28- Walk to Usmash was a really bad idea. You have to realize that your opponent is going to be expecting smashes at high percents, and ESPECIALLY when you both have one stock at high percents. Try walking to grab or just walk to react to whatever he does. Maybe charge a smash, but most opponents roll, so I dunno how effective that would be, since most high-level opponents would just shield, hence the grab idea. Ok basically just react to what they do since I didn't really say anything there lol.
Falco? Ok, I'll do it. We'll see how it goes right now lol.

I'm late because of playing Melee for about two hours with Twitch lol.

    Lol online.
Not drastically or anything, but a little imo.

Maybe it was just the goofy Snake you were playing? XD
    Whatever.

Your Diddy did improve some from whenever you last put up some vids, at least.
I guess it's only good if it's cussing like a sailor and has sexual references.

I have (0) good videos for you then, bro, besides some WKUK ones.
    I guess you'll have to have self-control.

And don't you eat that piiiieeee.
Please tell me you're seen that.
Why can't you just work on one more than your others, while moving those in the background more?
You really didn't trap him very well, and your combo game seemed kinda short.

I'll give your Diddy and his GaW a full critique today, I suppose.
Does he still read the Gaw boards?

I can't entirely blame him after his recent **** in Melee though.

I'm sure you'd have the reverse feelings if you beat Ali or LoZR and placed high at a Brawl tourney though, so I'm trying to see things both ways.
He uses the best characters most of the time.

The day he saw shined blind and learned competitive play he picked up Fox.
