    Serious thread, why is everyone saying Mewtwo is the bees knees now? I absolutely abhor playing as him so I have basically no firsthand experience. To me he just looks like a less crappy Melee Mewtwo. Besides the tail of death, did he get any new tricks that really helped him out?

    I don't have a main, and it's possible that I never will, so I play a bunch of characters. The best ones are probably :ivysaur::bowser2::zelda::link2: I also play :dedede::charizard::kirby2::gw::pikachu2::roypm:, but not well enough to be confident with them in a tournament setting.

    I'd like some info about shielding after attacks, and if it is possible/optimal to buffer your shield after an attack or otherwise. Let's say I whiff a laggy move on the ground. If I hold the L button during the animation, will my shield pop up during the first IASA frame of the attack? If not...

    Mashing: the game mechanic

    I agree with this 1000%. Can't tell you how many times I've been mashing, only to break out with an air dodge or some completely unsafe move. Either give feedback telling you to stop, or put a small buffer where button inputs are not read right after you successfully mash out.
