  • just wondering, but are you someone who went through a name change or something? I don't recall ever seeing you around ATL South.
oh hey. You said in disco room a lot of people hate on me. Please don't worry about it. Im actually a very nice well liked person, I am very accomplished in life, it just seems that way in Disco Room because of maybe a few users. But look closely- they all have many things in common:

    1. Teenie boppers
    2. Basement dwellers with ridiculous post counts
    3. Jealous.

:) No exceptions to these 3 rules. They are all the same, and I just pity these children whenever they try to hate on someone they never met in real life. ;) Thanks though for spotting through their stupidity. They must have terrible lives in the real world. =/
man why'd you have to die

killing roxy is like the worst thing you can do in a game

    because then it gets boring
Man... freaking sexy *** Scizor / mod red combo going on. Too bad you haven't done enough **** to get a colored postbit.
The melee community on campus is made up of probably only a few on campus, and most of the people off. We meet off-campus for these smashfests. The biggest problem is that I need 4 students to start it up. Myself included, I need 3 others, yet those on campus are not very interested in this, so that prevents the org from gettng started up.

Also, Student orgs, themselves require 75% of the members to be attending UW students. That presents a potiential problem in future. Say we started using campus funds for an org of only 5 people, but we had other people off-campus coming in that made up a larger percentage than the existing members. We could get in trouble if we somehow get caught doing this. But, that would be a problem to consider after getting it started.
lol These are 05-06 melee players on SWF, I am the novice in attendence to these melee fests. We have a scene yes, but it's a small melee one and it's made up of good players. Again, my goal is to expand upon this good melee community beyond the 10+ regulars and introduce brawl competitively. So, the challenge I am trying to solve is trying to find these brawl/melee players who have not shown themselves already, and get them into the scene. Without a set-up, student orgs, and overall word of mouth not working, I am at a lose for how to reach out to people without getting very lucky. This event this friday is my best chance for a long time.
Currently, I have reached out to around some 10+ melee players and gotten into the routine of the thursday night smashfests (melee only). I have some anti-brawl sentiments to break down.

There are a couple people on campus who I have played brawl with, and one person who has the orignal smash64, on nintendo 64 even. But apart from that, nothing else.

There will a gaming night being organzied by the campus and brawl will be there, I am hoping to attend and meet a lot more people. I have not talked to anyone outside of who I have played.
Accepting people isn't the problem, I play all 3 games in all of it's forms, and would willing play against anyone. The main problem is trying to reach out to people. Student orgs are shot as I cannot seem to get any interest from the melee players around here. So, pretty much my task is to find people who play casual brawl, and then work my way up from there. But, I am sort of at a roadblock trying to figure out ways to get that started. The biggest problem is that I lack a set-up. So, in a nutshell I am seeking opinions at this point on how to proceed.
"Well the path to glory is a long one"
That line fits with so many things in my life right now lol School, trying to start up a brawl scene on campus, doing art, and other things. Do you have any ideas for starting up a community at all?
Yay, pinkpt.com sort of fell of in usefulness awhile back. jellyneo.net even has a link to a great item database. idb.finalhit.org is like the best place for weapon info. Overall, jellyneo.net is like the one stop shop for everythign neo.

yeah, lab rays cost a lot now, I got mine when it was only like 500k
Congratulations on getting mod!!! *Woot woot!*
