Mewtwo is substantially more popular than Lucas and Wolf combined. I'm pretty sure he was the most requested character in general, aside from Ridley's rather random popularity explosion.

Slow charge beam along with those tripping bombs seem pretty amusing in four player FFAs. I'm disappointed in the lack of elemental beams, but dat power bomb, boost ball, and shinespark more than make up for it.

That's fine, but "joke characters" doesn't apply. If the dev team could think of movesets for joke characters (and movesets for characters like Captain Falcon), then Ridley shouldn't be an issue, regardless of your own thoughts.

Someone on 4chan said that there's a voice actor for Ridley on the 3DS version. There was some list they were throwing around, but I'm not sure how legitimate it was. Anyone know anything about that?

Aerodactyl-skin Charizard sounds pretty nifty. Easily one of my favorite fossils. However, someone on /v/ pointed out that the Charizard looks eerily similar to his second gen shiny color, so there's that. Also, color changes don't necessarily hurt another character's chances (like Ridley) so...

Dunno if it's been mentioned, but could you check throwing strength? I'd like to know if the throws still launch characters just out of follow-up range.
