    You can just lock MYM4. We have no real use for the thread anymore -- the current contest is over, actually.

    And yeah, I think that they're planning to have punishments for spam in MYM5 because it was such a problem in MYM4. I think it's kicking your movesets from the contest.

    (Oh yeah, and they only people who constantly spam are princesspeachluver13 and hyperhopper.)

    Well It could, But I could put in the first post please do not discuss melee vs. Brawl in this thread, it is off topic and not allowed. Something like that, It doesn't have to be closed just for that reason, I have pretty good success in threads and I really was looking for real evidence, full answers and discussion on topics. It wasn't something I wasn't going to keep updated. The thread was NOT AT ALL about brawl vs. melee!, It was only compiled evidence about how brawl takes skill, it had no correlation to why you closed it.

    True, but many people thought that a "Common Courtesy in Brawl" Thread would have been a flame-fest as well, and despite that it's gotten a little slower now than it usually is, there has been a lot talked about.

    Still, I guess I can understand why it was closed. Mods are strong (I learned that the hard way), and they have the brains to balance it.

    Honestly, why did you close Aqua's thread? I'm just kinda curious... I thought that a couple of these different threads would have been shut down much longer than they were, and yet many of them have lasted for quite a while, yielding varied conversations, and allowing multiple view points to be conveyed. What was so bad about the other thread?
