There's a a leak (The Sal Romano leak, that has a lot going for it) that has recently said that Character DLC is planned, but it's never been officially confirmed as far as I know.

I feel like all the leaked characters are for characters that were planned to be revealed pre-launch anyway, so assuming Sakurai did not decide to show off all the newcomers pre-launch, Geno still has a chance :')

Well, did we hear that Nintendo was working with SEGA/Konami before Sonic/Snake were revealed? And I don't think third parties really "work" with them, I feel like it's more of just Sakurai asking for permission to use that character, and then his team works on it.

I just noticed the "Colors" button right under the Options button on the top right corner of the leak. Assuming this is real, what could that be about? No more X/Y buttons for color switch?

I think he meant menus after the CSS, not before. The leak still shows two gray bars after the two red ones (The red likely being for Main Menu -> Group Menu & Group Menu -> Smash CSS), where there should only be one gray (For Smash CSS -> Stage Select)

Fingers crossed that Sakurai has been keeping his eye on Hyrule Warriors while it was being developed. Maybe Impa could be our next Roy.
