  • sounds pretty **** good.

im only working 5 day weeks so I have the weekends off usually. when uni goes back in a couple weeks ill go back to only working a day or two a week. until then i dont have much free time at all.

canberra is a pretty good place to spend free time though. ill see what i can do.
about even i think. fox can avoid him really easily, laser camp, and dair ***** him hard. but d3 has absolutely no problems gimping fox. its about who makes less mistakes. not sure how that compares to the west...
How odd my avatar is like white. I shall fix it. Never mind this post.

    Edit: Fixed.
Hmmm I donno we'll talk about where we're staying for Adelaide once everything's srted with your work.
yeah you di behind snake. the utilt doesnt send them straight up, but actually kind of whips them up as if they were follow where snake's leg is supposed to move during the hit. so try and get behind him. if done right, you can almost get to killzone's corner from the centre of fd. practice :)
Duuuuuude need to talk to you about HYPERBOLIC TIME CHAMBER MEET and Reloaded.

Give me a call when you can, or semnd me a message and i'lkl call you.
Thanks man, I'm flying back this thursday and would LOVE to play to play smash till my fingers bleed saturday as the dude I'm staying with is ditching me so if you can pick me up that would be awesome.

I have well and truly decided to drop MK after this tourney. Had to play 3 sets of MK dittos and they were all lame as ****/dull as ditch water. Been tinkering round with Marth and Snake, so hopefully you can help me pick a new main :p

Be cool man, see ya soon.
yeah i saw this yesterday. looks amazing. had no idea he was so low in the shield after a crouch. but definitely will try it out.
and all those vids are seriously old too O_o

hes on a different level. pressure tibs' *** into sending me my capture card for me, will you?

oh btw, his mk is better than his fox imo :O
just do the stuff i said fox does to snake lol.

camp with sh laser to force and approach, then smother it. follow aerials, try and stay inside/behind snake and dont let him touch the ground. if he finds his footing, repeat from stage one.
i played the best fox, falco, and olimar :)

to be honest i really didnt know what was going on. camp with sh laser, and when i approached, we would always come at me differently. then once im in the air, he;d follow and punished dodges with nair/fair, keeping the string alive. he would basically combo me the entire time. all i can say is, foxes approach options are rather limited. as soon as you see which ones coming, punish it. utilt/pivot grab for the aerial ones, ftilt for anything grounded. i did start getting used to him eventually, but not to the point where i could take him. next time i plan to though.

his mk on the other hand...omg... although ive started practicing backwards nade camping. awkward, but the only way to beat proper spammy mks.
hoy dude tales 2 only just came out in english this week just 2 let you know and also "muramasa the demon blade" is out 2
Well of course they work. I tested them and they worked fine, yes, with Snake. I'm sure there are plenty of other ways to make it work as well. Like they weren't just ideas, they were ideas that I had and they worked. You get the idea.... The real question is, which way works best under real circumstances in a real match.
What can I say? This is what I do.
But no wories man. Anything else you'd like me to check out? The Toon boards aren't really up to much lately, so I haven't had anything to test. If not, then I spose just feel free to let me know next time there is something.
Which way are you trying to Bair? Towards or away from the stage? Oh I think I get it. So you want to run off stage and, without jumping, Bair where people would be holding onto the ledge, but you want to do this while holding a nade. If that's the case, then this should be really simple. Pull out a nade, shield drop it, pick it back up, run off stage, as soon as you run off the edge put the joystick in neutral hit Z to Z-drop the nade then instantly catch it with Bair. You will Bair that section of the ledge while holding a nade and depending on the timing, it will explode and let you recover easier.

That is of course, if that's what you mean. This is all untested btw, but I see no reason why it shouldn't work.

If you meant something else then try to be a bit more specific and I'll tell you how to do it. And if I get the time, I'll test it for you. Actually...... I'll test it now. Just cause you're Luke XD. One sec.

(Don't you think it's funny how I always do this? Like I may as well re-write the whole post, but no, I have to do it this way.)

Ok so after a bit of testing, it appears that Snake can't do it the way I just mentioned because he drops the grenade too high above his head (Toon can do it though! I knew it was possible.) but just so I don't leave you without anything, I found three other ways to perform the Bair in that spot with a nade.
    1. The obvious way. Pick up the nade, SH off the edge, ZAC with Bair. (You know ZAC right?)
    2. The not so obvious way. Facing away from the edge, Shield drop a nade right on the edge, run off then Instantly Bair (C-stick is easy for me). Works fine but there is that set up time that you have to worry about.
    3. The inspired way. Roll all the way to the edge so pretty much you need to be as far over to the edge as possible facing away from the edge, Pull out a Nade, Shield drop it so it falls off the edge then Instantly let go of shield (Just tap shield) and run off the edge (You're right on the edge, so it's really just a step off the edge, not a run.) Then Instantly Catch the Nade with Bair. I like this way, it's quick, relatively easy except for the Instantly run off, Instantly Bair part, because you need to do it quick enough so you can catch it. But as it is, I was only testing for 5 minutes, and of that 5 minutes, about 1 of them was doing this way, and I can already do it easilly. So yeah, it's relatively simple, so simple, it must be known already. Well you tell me, you're the Snake main.

But that's all I got. If you didn't like them or I'm talking about something else, then hopefully these will give you a few ideas. It's just such a shame that it couldn't be done the original way, but oh well.

    Cya man!
Bair should work. Do you just mean it was to complicated? So were you trying to IZAC out of your initial jump or the double jump? Cause again, both should work. Keep working at it.
i get in at 6:45 PM. Donno what time i'll leave yet. Havn't bought that ticket. lol.
What, the IZAC? You wanna IZAC with nades? Fair enough. It can be done, the only problem with that would be, you wouldn't have as much time because your nade explodes way quicker then Toon's bombs, that and you have to drop them then pick up the nade again, that and Snakes aerials go forever. Or are you talking about SMSing your nades, or your..... side B thingy?
You should just check out my thread, like most of the Bombs section, I'm sure you'd find tones of "new" Snake techs XD.
Yo, D0N is flying down on the Saturday 21st at 4:45pm and leaving Monday 23rd 7:15am. If your still coming, talk with ted/d0n to see whats happeneing.
    Ah sweet, thanks.

It's good to know I'm improving in that trouble matchup, and I'll keep that in mind. :3
