  • Livvers, could you respond to this as soon as possible please. I have a question about Art with yo Powah 4! If you could that would be great thanx.
So that means more time at home and less time with ***hole photographers. :p
Although I'd probably miss the pay.
Same except slightly busier because of stupid school and stuff.
Are you still modeling? I remember you mentioning about quitting once but it's been so long that Idk anything. :p

    How's Brian and Lucy?
According to youtube comments, Trent steals from every industrial artist in existence. Since these people make their livings solely off of their music, I think it's safe to say that HE TOOK THEIR JERBS!!11!

    I meant like that. xD I don't think it's allowed. Hrm...what to do~

    Thanks for the answer.
For AWYP3, could I show the corruption of an ideal world as opposed to a perfect world? Or would I lose "adherence to topic" points?

    Thanks in advance.
    You love it.

As for that picture, while it is brilliant I don't think it would work as well as an avatar.
Tell Brian that someone in Australia is using his face as an avatar and that there's very little he can do about it :D
    hey dude
could you close my thread in the pool room pls?
it's called: how could you let your best friends never forget you? or sommething like this...
    thanks
I checked out that video lmao.
I can't believe how shocked and elated Trent is over those BIG OLE' *******.
A Warm Place does Crystal Japan infinite justice. I loved that. Strangely enough, a close friend of mine was suffering a very similar dilemma just recently. He heard a strange, ominous sound while at a friend's house (she too heard it), and for the following week, he could not stop hearing a song he'd never heard before. He tried to work it out on piano, but could never seem to translate it. Perhaps one day he will.

If I'm not mistaken, Bowie kind of wrote "Life On Mars?" the same way. He was walking down the street, and some clusterform of sounds translated into a very specific piano piece, which he then returned home, sat down, and worked out until it became what is heard in the song. These events further support the whole idea of synchronicity between all things; that we, and everything, are all vibrations.
NIN covered Crystal Japan!? I must hear that. I've watched clips of NIN and Bowie on youtube and holy mackerel, I too would have died if I got to see that.

I've never gotten too far into NIN's discography, but I've grown to love quite a bit here and there. For my industrial needs, Skinny Puppy has done me some good.

I highly suggest you look into Klaus Nomi. He actually backed up Bowie as a singer on SNL back in.. '79(?) Here's a video of one of the songs: The Man Who Sold the World.

This video makes me ask, "where did true artistry in music go?" This type of performance would never be tolerated on TV now.

Here's some of Nomi's actual work:
    Lightning Strikes
    Total Eclipse (Live)
    The Cold Song (Live)

OH duh! I just remembered that you judged my painting of Klaus Nomi. I totally forgot about that.
You have to like Bowie's albums Outside and Earthling, seeing as how NIN are closely related to both, yeah? While Outside was pretty much just Bowie and Eno, it strongly reflects NIN (especially The Heart's Filthy Lesson -- watch the video). Outside was actually the first album I got into, and for a while, I mingled only in his modern work, but have since grown to fondly love the rest.
    Top albums:
    - Low
    - Diamond Dogs
    - Aladdin Sane
    - Scary Monsters
    - Tonight (yeah, '84, but man...)

I absolutely love Bowie with every fiber of my being. Would have seen him back in '04 on his Reality tour, but I was younger, my brother was sick, and so we couldn't make it. Now he'll probably never tour again. Rats, rats, rats...

I think the last good music he's done was "Slip Away" and "5:15 The Angels Have Gone" off Heathen. I can't listen to that album, but those two songs are absolute pinacles in his career, especially the former.
    I don't want anything else
and when I think about it i to... well you know the song.

Seriously though, that's a very cool drawing.
