I remember once I dash attacked my friend in friendlies then grabbed him out of the air... I've never been able to do it again. You can alaso use it to set up a d-air or f-air if it's the right conditions.

I press b the moment I release the control stick and it works for me. Maybe there is a problem with your controller?

I use this quite often and it works very well. Needles to ledge to bair on someone is pretty hilarious when, only moments ago, they thought they were going to take a stock.

In a low tier fight i guess i would use Roy, Pichu or Zelda depending on how I feel like playing.

Fox is pretty good as a partner. My friend and I always seem to go Sheik/Falcon though, it works alright.

Sometimes I will use dash attack then turn and grab (Assuming they DI behind me). You can always end a tech chase with a dthrow, ftilt, fair so I use that sometimes. If they are at a high enough percent and they tech towards the ledge I tend to dsmash to kill. i don't know how effective that...
