Darn it Ryuka I can't view my profile page without looking at half a page of nothing. >.>
Also, I thought of an awesome come-back jest: There are no dingoes in Brisbane. Mwahahahaha! I win!
In all seriousness though, things can get pretty nuts out here. Just the other day in front of the local office, a man crashed in to his father's car. He got out and hit his father on the head with a pole. The father responded by promptly pulling out a machete and stabbing the son three times. The son is fine, not to worry (the stabs weren't too deep, apparently), apparently he doesn't even need to go to hospital (according to standards out here, that is) but still... Every day is exciting. Just today i was sitting at this computer when the lightbulb just above my head exploded. The floor all around me was strewn with glass (I didn't leave that chair until after the area was swept and even then I found some rather large shards sitting next to my shoes. My mum found a sliver of glass in her coffee slightly afterwards too, joking beforehand what would happen if there was some glass in her coffee. It was exactly the type of shard you DON'T want to find in your coffee too, so we all laughed about how she found it at the bottom of her coffee cup) but amazingly no shards of glass collided with my stationary figure. All i felt was the heat as the bulb exploded.
So basically what i'm saying is, so far, so good. And no wild snakes yet. Actually, is that a good thing, or a bad one? Wouldn't want to find an inland taipan on my last day out here, would I? :o
