    I was too optimistic with the ban. I thought that people that said they'd attend tournaments on the basis of MK being banned would create a large enough influx of players to create a new metagame/tournament feel. Unfortunately, that didn't really happen. At least, it certainly didn't happen in Louisiana. Instead, we saw a fractured scene that couldn't lure in the old players with the promise of new faces.

    We just didn't get the new, or old players back that I thought we'd see with the ban taking place. Sometimes, you have to roll with the scene you have, rather than the scene you thought you could make. We didn't gain enough players to offset the lose of all the MK players. Players make the scene, and without the mutual reinforcement of players, the community falters.

    Two things: One, I want an update on your progress with the Regional Committee. Two, I need you to pick a date for Resist. The best dates that fit in with the other tournaments would be September 15, 22, or 29.

    GL getting that chapter done. No idea how you'll finish it.

    I cannot sleep for some reason. In the mean time, I managed to finish another chapter now that I know I have Franz absolutely. Pro: 2 turn, Ch.1: 5 turn, Ch.2: 7 turn. No idea if these are good turns, but I'm satisfied with them and Eirika and Franz got decent stats in the couple levels they gained. Other than that getting that done, I'm fiddling around with Bthrow vs Dthrow with Marth in melee.
