there seems to be a tourney on the 20th, just wondering if you will be able to make it.
I should be able to make it since i will be in sydney from the 19th of dec for at least three weeks over xmas, my bday and new year.
thre s a small meet at teds today if your interested. I will probs show for about an hour or 2 before the end.
Anyways:
Yeah tourny was good. I don't feel like improved at all still lost to SD. I'm seem to always get close but he gets that last hit in.
EA was playing really well and doing some mad desync stuff too.
Doubles was good teamed with some new guy. Went something like diddy first up then went toon on delphino. Team mate played eithe falco or metaknight. Was fun.

anyways we are going to train it in and back too. Yiu can come with and I don't know how teds getting there.

ok so im coming into sydney on friday morning and will be at teds place friday as well. Are you going to be going to teds place friday as well?
also i am free saturday, so i was thinking we could have a mad toon link session as well as some genereal smash as well. either at my place or your place what ever is easiest, or even nathaniels if he is up for it. what do you think?
also im sure you know by now that luke cant make the tournament on monday, was wondering if you are still going as well as how you would be getting there if you did?

Well by the looks of things I won't be going straight to Newcastle from qld. Ao we might be able to catch up earlier in the weekend for an epic toon jam session, ooh the music is so sweet.
also to avoid being shield grabed on the shield breaker combo I was thinking of introducing a boomerang. Some thing to test
short/full hop>bomb pull>boomerang on after landing(best angle would be inbetween horizontal and 45 or just 45 degrees, boomerang needs to pass them)>rest as normal.
I wantto know the timing of returning boomerang. Ideal spots would be when we need to cancel the jab that way it give extra shield stun and they can't shield grab us at all. Otherwise it can break them out of their grab. Also if it happens after the bomb cancels our d-smash it may give us a larger window for the back air to break their shield an break with certainty or even shield poke in which case may set up a B-air chain.

Me I'm lucky if I make top 20, let alone top 10. Laughs though if I perform insanely good and end up being the highest non power ranked player but unlikely. I'm more interests in practice for squat the following weekend. I may even just focus on incoorperating iZAC into actual matches. Depends how consistant I feel with it but l seem to have fairly well for up, down, right and nuetral but left is still a bit inconsistant but is a lot better than last time you saw it. But I haven't practiced any brawl seriously for a while so I don't know. Plus I want to see if we can get our 4rrows going in an actual match as wellB
Actually did you end up posting that arrow trick on the toon boards or the shield breaker combo.
Personally I think they need more testing which is something else I want to do

nah I'm good, but if this works like I think it does then you've not only helped me make snake more broken, but you've also helped me remove one of my biggest weakness's.

well see I had orginally thought you could just hold a button to have an item and be able to do aerials (like the whole hold a bomb and fsmash thing)
but having to do the aerial to grab the item makes my idea unviable I think, maybe you can figure it out, all I want to do is a runoff bair whilst holding a nade, but since I dont jump at all I just run straight off the stage, I dont know if it'll work, I certainly couldnt get it to.
well I tested it and it was fail...
I was trying to get a way of going offstage with snake to do a bair whilst holding a nade incase I **** up and get put in a bad position, still I can at least nair with a nade so thats good.
ooo all that **** you posted on the Sydney boards about bombs and stuff gives me a **** idea for a new snake tech...

just to keep you in the loop, there is a tourney next weekend sunday the 8th, I will be down for the weekend staying at ted's so if you wanna come we can do the same thing as last time, so show up at ted's on sunday morning, we take you to the tourney and back, and everybodys happy.

I'll probably verse him next in a tournament. He lives pretty far, but I'm not sure how far. I live in Trujillo Alto (top middle of PR), and he lives in Ponce(bottom middle). I'd give it about a little bit over an hour, or maybe an hour and a half.
The next tournament that's been announced is in November 28, but I think I'll be going down there for 2 or 3 days during my trimester break, which should start around the 6th. I should be telling this to Sheikant......
I think I'm getting better though, although I'm getting inconsistent.
ehh corspe never played ted, I played him first though and I almost won the first match despite me making heaps of stupid mistakes, no johns though because he 2 stocked me on my counterpick. but yeah, I dont know enough about toon link or your guys playstyle to tell you that, except he sets **** up really well with his projectiles.
but I reckon with abit of matchup practice there isnt much toonlink can do to snake.
Sheikant is too good. I couldn't approach him. I didn't do too bad, until I looked down at the stocks. Stock johns are too legit :S lol -
