In regards to what I said the other day about how even critically hated things get fandoms, I will admit I am curious enough to ask why they like these things. I’m just terrified of the answer they’ll give me.
The newt play the flute, the carp play harp, the plaice play the bass and they sounding sharp, the bass play the brass, the chub play the tub, the fluke is the Duke of soul. Yeah. The ray he can play, the lings on the strings, the trout rocking out, the black fish fish she sings, the spelt and the spratt they know where it’s at, and oh that blowfish blow.
I’d like to give a shout out to the indie game Cassette Beasts. A monster catching game made in the uk. It’s was pretty good overall and sure I didn’t hide the Pokemon influence well but at the same time I never got the sense it was trying to be Pokémon. If that makes sense.

fandoms are so diverse aren't they? in terms of fans i mean. i suppose the most curious type of fan is the one who hates on of the key things of the thing they're a fan of. the kingdom hearts fans who want rid of the disney stuff, the smash fans who want rid of nintendo. i myself am a spiderman who hates spiders
last night i dreamt nintendo announced they were remaking ocarina of time as part visual novel part breath of the wild
So my brother and I were talking about animals riding roombas and he said that if they make another chibi-robo, chibi should be able to tame and ride a roomba like a horse in botw/totk. it's an amazing idea
