He's not being mean. I'm glad you both seem to agree that it would be a good idea. :) Gathering at a store to play would be okay, but I'd prefer someone's place any day over that. I will talk to Ryan and Matt and see if they agree.

Smash in Lafayette is more popular right now than it's been in years. Patrick, Ken, Matt, Ryan, Nick, Ben, Aaron, and I are gradually bringing it back. :) It's ****ing great to see yall still posting in here. EDIT: Curlz, you fellas from the Brawl scene (and anyone else we're missing) in...

I thought the LA thread had died. Woot, nice to see you all. Lafayette's been playing more melee lately, since Varuna and Runfast have an apartment together. Edit: Sudai and Eric where you at? :o Edit2: @Sudai, ShyG: I like melee more than Brawl as well, but I agree with M2K's stance that the...

    I'm a making a video... input!

I don't know if it's a good idea to compare Melee and Brawl that way. You can just make a melee video and it would speak loudly enough. Everyone already knows that Brawl is slower, etc.

How many of you Melee players can still stand Brawl? I'm living in Indiana right now and there is a group here that plays it. Holy-ba-Jesus, this game just leaves some sort of deep longing for Melee after I play it EVERY single time. I can't stand this feeling. I'm about to go and buy a copy...

Please give me Marth advice!(update 3-18-2008 Feat. Iori)

I only watched the first falco video, but I can try to give some general advice. 1. Be very concious of your spacing. You want to be as far away from the opponent as possible, but where tipper range still reaches them, they cannot touch you if you do this correctly, and sweetspotted fair...

True; I understand your perspective because you've played melee for 7 years. Just as MuraRengan said, though, the same thing will likely happen to Brawl. I personally make the mistake of comparing the two way too much, so brawl just seems like no fun compared to melee. I just can't help it...

    The Four Aspects of Melee

Sticky, please. EDIT: This thread is probably the most useful read any Melee player will ever come across.

The problem is your focusing on the things in Brawl that don't really matter.

Very true; I would be so much happier if I were a little stupider than I already am, and I mean that sincerely.
