  • Yeah, that's it. Really good storyline and characters imo.

    I dunno about the anime, but they have about 19 of the ~25 volumes in America atm.
    Which fossils do you want? I have at least one extra of all 6 fossils avaiable to my Platinum

    For reference
    Claw=Anorith
    Dome=Kabuto
    Helix=Omanyte
    Old Amber=Aerodactyl
    Root=Lileep
    Skull=Cranidos

    If you want an Armor (Sheildon) I'll either have to breed one or we'd have to do more trading but with my Pearl instead.
    You very well may have heard of it; yeah, it's about Go. I'm hooked on it. I started reading it a year or two ago and stopped reading after around the 12th volume. But I've recently started reading it again. Finally got through all of the ones out in America.

    I don't really read manga or watch anime much at all; I forget how I even encountered this one, but it's the only one I read atm.
    When it comes to the Undergground, you only need a friend for certain tasks.

    Yeah, he appears useless until you complete any of the tasks he gives a decoration for.

    PM me your friend code. I'd rather not have mine visible to anyone who can read your VMs.

    Any specific pokes you want? I can get you any egg (and hatch it for you if need be)
    Haha, it's Waya from Hikaru no Go. Funnily enough, I actually don't watch the anime, but I love the manga.

    lol It's definitely not a dragon, but I think it looks neat.
    I face you for the Challenger Approaching tournament. Can you play tomorrow?
    You DON'T NEED a friend to acces the Underground. All you need is the Key Item called Explorer Kit. When you use it you'll be taken to the Underground.

    You can get the trophy decorations in Diamond. Do you know the old guy in Hearthome just below the poke center? After completing various tasks, he will give you a trophy decoration. Most of them come from tasks in the Underground, but others you can get without going down there. Again, check the Diamond section of Serebii for all the info.

    As for my offer, I would get you the fossils by giving them to a poke to hold and trading that poke to you - no Underground required. All we'd have to do is exchange friend codes.
    Would I have to go by the same rules the gym already has?

    I'm still very interested (in fact I want it so bad lol) but I'm going out of town tonight and wont be back till monday night.....
    I'll be waiting.

    Yes and no. The Underground is local wireless like the upstairs portion of the poke centers, so no internet required. Aside from digging things up, you do need a second DPPt game to get the other trophy decorations. I recommend looking at the DPPt sections of Serebii for more info.

    btw need any fossils? I've got plenty of Claw, Skull and Helix (at least 15 each). I already have every fossil poke for possible use/breeding, so I don't need the fossils themselves really
    Yeah, you can send chapters for me to revise anytime. Whether I can be on through the Wii to properly correct them depends on my connection.

    Send the move whenever. Maybe we should just continue alternating colors for future games so we can get better practice.

    The internet-less days weren't useless for me. I got back into platinum to finish getting the trophy items for the underground. All I need now is to finish my fossil collecting (have 80-some, need 100) and earn the Battle Tower trophies.
    It's fine. I knew you prolly would do that anyway, just figured I'd let you know (not that it really matters) that I'm fine with it.

    Like Ive said before: I'll be waiting. I just hope I can be online often enough to keepthe game moving at a fair pace.
    Sorry for not responding for a few days, but I was unable to connect with either the Wii or DSi.

    If you haven't already, just use what I've already given as my final revisions. If the connection is available next week, I could still send what would have been my final corrections if you want.

    I don't really have a preference on color. White has the advantage of starting their plans quicker, while black is given slightly more inssight into their opponent. It really depends on how you play to determine which color you believe you're better with. If I had to give an answer I'd be split: I like to prepare which suggests white, but I tend to want to have more info before doing so which suggests black.
    Also i was wondering if you wanted to get the doubles thread up and running again. I think i have a pretty solid format on the Link boards if you wanted me to throw it together.
    I though i was the one helping you. lol.

    Though when i start to add stuff into the ultimate guide. I think im going to need the second post because i my Link doubles thread, it takes forever to save edits. I think the Pit guide is going to reach about that length soon as well.
    Yes, the boards do seem to be inactive theses days. Probably because of all the summer vacations. Like myself. I'm on vacation right now @ my trailer which is right by a lake. However i have 10 minutes on the internet so just thought i'd respond ^_^
    Against a sonic, hmm. I have never really played against a sonic that was really diverse in play style. Most of the time they have a certain style that i can pick up on. Best advice in general against a good sonic is to not get super aggressive in general, dont go arrow spammy when ever Sonic is grounded, he can easily get around them and be up in your face before you can act. Sonic will usually space himself, and charge in really fast, so for me its usually best to defend first and then counter. Once you knock him off balance and into the air, use Pits air priority to beat his and follow up with arrows any time he gets knocked too far away. A nice stun could hold him in place long enough to continue comboing. Also save up your kill moves, Pit doesnt suffer from weak kill moves unless he uses them too soon. Anyway thats how i would play against sonic.
    "lolno" is a force of habit of mine - I do it all the time in MSN and xat, so it carries on. But yeah, I should have kept that out, and I'm sorry.
    The "lolno" was directed at myself for playing stupidly without floating and whatnot. I heard the scream myself, I know you won, no question.

    I just didn't think it'd be as embarrassing for me, lol
    I think we just pick at random.

    I ban Lylat Cruise as a CP. ANd will CP Brinstar if you do not ban it.
    Each time I plan to respond, you're not online, so I decide to do it later, and forget, lol.

    We can play now if you want.
    Hmm i can see what your talking about, i never thought to use Ftilt because if they stay close its Fsmash if they move away its Angel rings, sometimes it can be Dtilt. I can see ftilt working. I think infinite jab to fsmash can do like 30%+ in one shot.
    Mind taking a look at my last post in the ultimate pit guide? I was thinking of editing that into the OP in place of the tips on attacking. Of course it needs some editing, seeing as its about a year old, but i think it could be a solid foundation to start from.
    Lymle lol. I just used the official artwork and placed it on this background you see now kay? :)
    It is very good. I'd recommend it. Some of the subjects can be very thought provoking and maybe too deep to completely understand, but the action and characters really make up for that imo.

    Like I said: I'll be waiting. I'll also be much more careful with my Queen next time so I should be even harder to beat/stalemate.

    Later.
    I'm like that too in most cases. The only ones I know I've started watching from an unknown episode were Bebop and Ghost in the Shell, but after a couple episodes, I felt comfortable watching it from any point in the series.

    I'll be waiting for you to begin the game (no need to hurry though)
    I still say Bebop would be fairly safe to start watching withou catching up first.

    I'll try to give you the most recently played episode numbers later this week so you know how much you need to catch up on.

    You can't record? It doesn't have to be like TiVo. I just use a standard VCR.

    Let me know if/when you want to start another game. I'll play black this time.
    You don't necessarily have to catch up on them all. Bebop is one of those shows you can pretty much start watching from any episode and FMA: Brotherhood seems like the same story as the original, but with a few extra/alternate scenes.

    I recommend recording them so you don't have to stay up all night to watch the ones you want or you think you might forget they're on.
