    Lol, I think is called the Doop-walk..I dunno, I just call it pivot walk lol.

    & everyone has a boost pivot grab, some characters move farther with it..& some barely even move.
    Basically, dash/or run in one direction, then attack..right when you attack, push grab & smash your control stick on the opposite direction of where you're running.

    Lawl, I could show you it later if you like, I fail at explaining those stuff T__T

    Lawl, I use boost pivot grab with Marth.
    Not regular pivot grab :088:

    You have to cancel a dash attack into a grab, it boost the length of it.

    & MHtri is Monster Hunter Tri for the Wii.
    Fun game, you kill monster & hunt for items.
    & it has NO lag at all, is really fun with friends online.

    I guess it was hard huh? I equiped Sarah with the regeneration symbol the moment I found it. With it Sarah was always full on MP that item is amazing.

    You should try out the dungeon, but when you go stay away from the bees. Oh my God those things are too ****! I'm currently playing Tales of Vesperia atm lol

    yea i agree. well, im literally 25 pages away from finishing breaking dawn! so by the next time i talk to you, i will have finished the whole series :)
    and if you could, tel everyone how sorry i am that im not posting(shock there), and i will try to post and get everything up to date asap! the problem is, i cant even read without my family bugging me to get out of the house and quit reading eveery now and again, let alone spend 15 minutes on the computer everyday. fml. my family hates reading, besides my mom, so they are all convinced books are the bane of their existence :laugh:(ok, maybe thats an exaggeration, but hopefuly you get what i mean...)

    I'm sure some of the records have been broken, but I don't think the OPer and mods care enough about the thread to update it. There are prolly more up-to-date records posted somewhere else, just not here.

    It's not the dialog itself, but the punctuation. I don't do anything with the wording of the dialog unless it's blatantly wrong or you've asked me to be more critical of the char's speech.

    I managed to finish. I'll send it shortly.
    EDIT: Sent. EXTRA punctuation corrections this time (my fault for not remembering with earlier chapters)

    I use everyone lol, & then I mimic my opponent characters & use it against them.
    I just like doing that lol.

    & yeah, I'm ok..I used to be way better though..I only play brawl like twice a week now.

    I just checked the thread again and noticed that the OP hasn't been updated since March 2008! That means people have had 2+ years to beat those times.

    I might not get the completed revisions to you today. I've only been correcting for about an hour or two, but after remembering something last night which caused me to double check and add new corrctions to all your dialog, my attention is waning. If I can't get my focus back enough to finish today, I'll get it to you tomorrow for sure.

    Use Bacchus. Makes the fight go aot smoother+ Hes the only character capable of stunning a boss without the use of the "stun" Skill manual.

    Don't be too hard on yourself. I made some fairly detrimental mistakes in the first two games (more in the first than the second)

    Yeah -_- Did you happen to notice the time for Falco lv 5? That "frightened" me the most. Made any progress with your TTs yet? You know they don't all have to beat mine before you send them. I still send you my Pit ones even though yours are prolly all faster.

    It depends on how focused you are on reading them and what kind of show it is.

    You still played a good game, even though you got a little confused in the beginning. Hopefully the next game will be better for you.

    I was checking out the some of the forums here I don't visit and decided to see what kind of records were posted for TTs. I feel like a noob after seeing what's posted [thread=144213]in the OP here[/thread] -_- I haven't watched any of the vids yet, but the fact that there are vids is enough proof for me. I'll stick to competing against you.

    Some would rather just watch the show and won't want to use the extra brainpower to read the subtitles (in other words: they're lazy). Again: reading the subtitles distracts from the rest of the show.

    I know that, but just because they're there doesn't mean the viewer will read them. That's why I avoid subbed: reading the subtitles takes away from my enjoyment of the rest of the show.

    That's not odd. By that logic, actors are bipolar because many are completely different than the chars they play.

    They won't. The network is ALL in English. They won't want to alienate those who cannot understand Japanese by playing subbed anime.

    Like I said, it's revised enough that I'd give it to you now if you want. I'm pretty sure the only remaining mistakes, if there are any, are the less obvious punctuation ones.

    That's not true. Your mind most likely does it without you knowing. Have you ever managed to predict a sequence of attacks or movements from the cpu? If so, it's because your mind subconciously analyzed the cpu's pattern.

    If it's a new anime in Japan, then yes, AS won't get it for a while. If it isn't new, then there is still a chance that AS will be the first to air the dubbed episodes. I don't believe the anime sites manage to get the dubbed episodes as soon as they're made, I think they have to be released somehow, either on DVD or to some channel to be played on TV.

    Finished the majority of the revisions. Like the other times I want to look it over again for minor mistakes I may have missed, but it's good enough to be posted now if you so wish.

    All cpus in any game have some pattern to what they do. Whether it seems random or not depends on how easily the gamer can discern said pattern.

    AS only plays dubbed. The only time you see any subbed parts are the openings and closings and even then not on many shows. I'll let you know if it does start showing.

    If you want more random cpus, try 7s.They seem to be more random than 9s while still providing a fair challenge (unless it's one of those that don't know how to recover or are easily gimped out of theirs)

    June 25th? isn't that a little far off? It may start showing between now and then. I think AS is about due for a schedule change soon, maybe that's when it'll happen.

    I'll stick to full episodes on TV or that are viewable on the Wii. I don't like viewing broken up episodes on youtube because it takes some of the enjoyment out of watching it in the first place.

    The trouble with that method is some aerials take just long enough that you have to start them on your way up in order to do what you want. I believe Ylink's fair is one of those and it's one of my favs to use (along with nair and dair).

    Why not just do that from time to time anyway against a cpu (or 3)? I at least try to play as competitively as I can so I'm not out of practice for the times I play against friends.

    I don't believe so. It's not on Saturdays(/Sundays) and I don't believe animes are played on other nights.

    The problem for me is that Pika's jump is so quick that I rarely SH with him and when I do I'm so surprised that I don't get my aerial off or don't L-cancel it. With Ylink and Samus I can SH easier, but can't seem to get the timing for both the FF and L-cancel at the same time, thus only getting one or neither off. Actually I have trouble with the FF part in general.

    That's another reason I'm content with remaining a casual player: I can't seem to be able to read my opponent's style accurately enough to be successful.

    His wavedashing isn't really that much of a problem, unless he's spacing Marth's fsmash. It's his ability to SHFFL with anyone, outprioritizing half my attacks and his ability to grab. All those, combined with how well he knows my style, allows him to destroy me every time on Melee.

    Maybe, if I remember, I'll send you the replays of me and him from earlier.

    Yeah, he is very good considering he retired from the game at least a year and a half ago. But what might be scary is how much better he is at Melee over Brawl.

    My correcting hasn't reached the actual intros yet, but when I read through the chapter, nothing in that part jumped out at me as wrong. I'll be correcting that tomorrow.

    Do your naps ever end up being as short as you plan?

    Like I said earlier, you're getting better with the mstakes. I've corrected up to meeting the "odd trio" and it's mostly been punctuation, but still not very many corrections.

    and they still tear me apart. im about 200 pages from finishing the last book, and i think AS SOON as i get back from vacation, im going to start rereading them again :laugh: i cant help myself.

    how is the tourney going?? i dont have time to really check, because im on vacation still. so it would be nice if you could fill me in so i know how poorly of a job im doing with it :(
