    It'll prolly be easier on you to send a few things in a single message rather than multiple. Plus it'll be easier for me to find the links to things you recommend if they're all together.

    I was referring to all stories rather than just fanfics. If you want an example, I found out about one recently - Wizard's Hall by Jane Yolen. Read it, or at least about it and tell me what it reminds you of.

    Most fiction nowadays, fan or otherwise, is either a re-skin of something else, intentionally or not, or a blend of bits from multiple stories, again either intentional or not.

    I read it yesterday while the PC was slow and in between moves of games on ChessHere. Which other story? You should send me a PM of vids and stories or whatever so I remember to check them out while on the Wii.

    It's very difficult to create something original; most of the time, it ends up being a "re-skin" of something else.

    Sorry for the late response, was reading some stuff on another site.

    Algebra II is more of a continuation of Geometry than more Algebra. I was similar in that math in general didn't get hard for me until Calculus.

    I figured you meant something like that, but I felt like pointing it out anyway.

    It's a bummer SSoD is done, it was really good.

    Algebra isn't the same as Algebra II. II is higher level and Geometry should be between them, or at least it was for me.

    Why wouldn't I see it?

    By "higher-level," I'm referring to at least Algebra II, though it could have been (Pre-)Caluculus; those subjects blur together for me nowadays, except for certain bits of Calc.

    When/if we play there, just remember to check it often enough to move before you timeout (though this should be avoidable due to turns being allowed to last from 1 to 15 days)

    I offered because a couple have posted in the PC's social thread asking for help on some stuff (only higher-level math so far, but still) and I used to be fairly good in all subjects. This may have been diminished through 2-3 years oflittle to no use/review.

    I'd likely only accept CC games considering the DSi might not be able to handle RTC ones properly and most of my internet time is through it.

    Hopefully homework doesn't eat up too much of your leisure time. If you want, I could try to help with homework if you need it.

    The site allows two ways to play: realtime chess (RTC) where both players are online and playing at the same time (like you just described), and correspondence chess (CC) which is exactly what we've been doing.

    You weren't gone for 3 days. I'd say it was about 32 hours, give or take.

    I no longer have that GC save so I can't check, even if I had a GC version of the game.

    It's alright, I know school gets in the way.

    Technically I've only started two separate playthroughs: one on the GC version years ago (on which I did about as well as you have, maybe worse) and my current one on the Wii version. The reason I called it multiple is because I've replayed some days multiple times because I either tried to better what I did the previous try or I had taken a break and after setting up a quick clear of an area (i.e. killing all creatures) only to find that they were back the next time I played.

    How's your game with dragon? You still only a couple turns in?

    Stop assuming I beat the game. I've never even seen the fifth area where the last part is. I'm talking about the playthrough I'm in the middle of right now. I've started multiple playthroughs, but never finished one; the farthest I've made it is 25 parts by day 20, which is where I'm at now.

    Hope we can still talk and play (both chess and brawl) often, even if it's not as often as it has been over the summer.

    That's about the time I consider getting off every night and I try to actually be off around 12:30am at the latest.

    My first few days are fast, but once I go back to the third area after clearing the first two, my speed decreases. Pretty sure that on this playthrough I went from a ratio of 6:12 to 18:22, which is a noticeable drop in speed.

    Bleh, school. Guess you won't be on as much starting tomorrow.

    I'll likely be on until at least 11pm PST, unless things get really boring (no friends on and PC slows for the night).

    Stupid DSi, didn't notice it stuttered when I typed that 3.

    It's not that hard, just make sure all your pikmin are flowers before you pick them on Day 1, and on Day 2 get the Yellows ASAP and get the Radar (on the other side of the bomb wall to the right of the Yellows, up on the cliff). After you get that one part, you can just check the map for the location of the others.

    Try watching an episode of RC sometime and see if the animation is the same (if you remember what you saw back then well enough.

    The second area gets me ahead in the parts to day ratio. Day 2 I end up getting the Yellow pikmin, 33 parts and open a bomb wall or two, which sets up a quick collection of the rest of the parts later. Day 3 I get the Blues and get 1 or 2 parts (depends on if I catch the moving one). Day 4 I finish the first area. Day 5 (and 6 if I go slow) I finish up the second area. By then, my day: parts ratio is 6:11 at slowest and 5:12 at fastest.

    RC overlays the mouth of the toys with a computer generated one when the chars talk.

    Been playing NPC:p today. I'm about to start day 19 and have 22 ship parts. I doubt I'll finish the game today, but it sets me up to finish next weekend, if I play it.

    What the hell are mus and let's see how easy it's for you to go to character boards and pos there when you don't understand half of what everybody is talking about. Oh yeah, I would know what the hell planking is. I would know what **** like sharking is too. And more than half the people I know here don't even brawl with me. It's either wii johns or the fact that everybodys always too busy to fight with me

    Robot Chicken uses the same tools and whatnot as clay-mation, but uses toys instead of clay. Other than that, no idea if it's the show you saw.
