-The NNID Sharing Thread: Find opponents here!-

My NNID is dmaurolizer. I can never seem to find anyone at all near NYC in For Glory (so much lag), so I'm hoping to find some people to friend for online 1v1 in the metro area (also down for 2v2 w/ my roommate). Please friend me if you're nearby.

    Brawl Hacking Support Thread

Did you happen to notice if the dpad functioned like an analog stick or like the Wii remote's dpad? (regarding double tapping to fall through floors and run). Thanks, spunit!

    Brawl Hacking Support Thread

Spunit, I really hope that's something you pursue. I think learning to play on the d-pad could be really interesting for everyone. Personally I am very interested because I've got my Wii running in my arcade cabinet, and it would be really nice to use the joystick and buttons to play Brawl. I...

    Brawl Hacking Support Thread

Are there any codes that allow you to control your character with the dpad on the Gamecube controller, as the Wii remote control scheme does?

    A New SSB Brawl Review

The write up is written as an introduction for the less informed (I still know plenty of people that haven't bought this game yet, but like fighting games and will be very swayed by this write up), but I think there are some arguments for what are the games strengths that might be interesting...

    A New SSB Brawl Review

I've written a not-terribly long Super Smash Bros. Brawl review/critique. This is written from the point of view of someone that never played Melee competitively, but loved it as a party game. I wrote this because I felt like most reviews from the usual suspects failed to address Brawl as a...

Water gun. Nothing to envy, Mario

The benefit of using water is that since they are not hit, they won't get their up b or side b moves back for those characters that do. Those Mario videos were really impressive. I'll have to try this out with Squirtle.

    Green Olimar ftw!

    Olimars B-Up Discovery

Interesting, I had never considered this, but I can definitely picture plenty of instances when this would have helped me. The problem would be getting rid of your pikmin quickly enough.

Critique my Olimar - Tourney finals

You roll too much. I know because I do the same thing. Pay attention to what Pikmin is one deck. You were constantly using your reds and yellows to back throw, and tossing your blues. You'll get better mileage from your reds and yellows if you down throw and when you need to KO, just grab and...

Pikmin Order Whistle - How exactly it works! (and applies to recovery)

I think you might be posting in the wrong thread since there are threads dedicated to whistle super armor, but basically you recover from the whistle faster than you do an air dodge so you can follow up with a counter-attack. Recovery from the whistle is faster when you're in the air though so...

Pikmin YOU Throw Can Attach To YOU!

Did it ever actually attach to Sonic because he was probably just wearing a Franklin Badge.

Pikmin Order Whistle - How exactly it works! (and applies to recovery)

Has this been added to the Olimar info threads?

Pikmin Order Whistle - How exactly it works! (and applies to recovery)

Ultimatum, your up b attack damage is based on whichever pikmin is next in line, just as the rest of your attacks are.
