Look, I don't care if you believe in God or not, that's your own decision.
I was giving creationists as example simply because they are having a surreal worldview (discarding the pretty much scientifically proven evolution stuff) and press them into other people's throats by forcing the schools - or at least trying to do so - in their area to stop teaching the evolution theories and instead teach the Bible's Genesis.
That's nothing about their belief in God or anything else, it's just a very good example of how extremism (and what the creationists are doing is extremism in several cases) can look harmless, but still be extremistic. It was the first example I was able to get off from the top of my head, I could've also tried harder to think of other examples. Extremism, in any form and shape, is bad and should be frowned upon, and I think you can agree with me here. Even when it goes into something as banal as video games.
Now that this is out of the way, I too don't like the "loud" people of one group. Including gays. The only thing is I want is that people stop trying to stick their nose into my bed/relationship and that a supreme "being" such as a country's government should not exclude people from their rights. In a country's government, especially countries that are actually laicistic, something like religious or personal beliefs must not matter, and every human should be treated equally, regardless of their gender, nationality, religion, sexuality, and whatnot else.
That is the only 2 things I want, basically.
I don't want marriage through church either, since the Christian churches don't tolerate homosexuality (I'm too tired to debate on that topic, but I'll say that I disagree with the churches about their handling of that) and forcing them to allow homosexual marriage is just as silly as forcing homosexual partners to have less rights in a country - an entity that should be able to break apart personal beliefs from rights.

If you disagree, fine.
Just know that medicine and psychology are disagreeing with you, as well, then.
