  • Since you say that I'm lacking structure, can you give me some pointers?

Besides the religion thing, I try not to mention religion after the gay marriage topic. Shame that most of the topics require moral opinions, not necessary conflicting facts that require sufficient evidence to prove...
Thanks, dude. I was really worried people would just be trolling it. I've grown kind of scared of the debate hall just because everyone seems so hostile. I'll probably become a lot more active because of that thread.
Maybe if we PM Crimson King and ask him to let us do it as a joke, we can temporarily change them.
Lol, yeah it might have been. Do you remember the infamous "Why would anyone believe in God" thread? Roughly half of that was composed of Yossarian tangents.

Which is saying something, considering it was like 500 pages.
I just felt like posting here to tell you that you have possibly the best sig to ever grace the earth. I actually lol'd the first time I saw it.
And the grasshopper from Pinochio is pure win too.
I tried resurrecting it, but nobody took it back up. It'll probably get more attention once we start letting people in from the PG. That's taken up everyone's attention lately.

BTW, LOL @ the avatar. We should require all PG mods to wear it.

It took a great deal of physical restraint not to really lash out. But he's learning.

    anyway thanks :) you too.

Haha - you mean that my post was bad, or his? Sorry, I'm a little slow :p
You have increased the likelihood of my suicide by 700% with the information of the Dragonball sequel.

    :(:(:(:(:urg::(:(:crying::teeth:
I'd be very interested in such a thread.

Our entire electoral system is in need of major reworkings, and I'd like to hear people's different viewpoints on it.
Meh. I'm willing to compromise here and there.

If shedding some of my principles allows me to purge the earth of stupid people, then so be it. :p
They just don't listen, do they?

I've come to the conclusion that the only way to reverse someone's in-born prejudices and bias is to kill them.
I think exploring things government policies and Constitutional interpretations would be fun.

In any case, I have lots of good ideas. I've just been swamped with college papers and exams.
Lol, I know. As of late the DH has been really slow, so I just assumed that nobody intelligent was posting anymore until I actually checked up on it yesterday.

After being on a bit of a hiatus, I'm glad people of good reputation are still active. We need to make some interesting new topics that have nothing to do with religion; I'm a little burned out on that anyway.

I have some good ideas for new topics, but school keeps getting in the way. :/
Your sig is the best thing I've ever seen in my life.

Thank you so much for showing me that gif.
I believe a limited amount of regulation is necessary in order to protect the interests of individaul parties in the free market; kind of like what the government does for us (or theoretically should), but for the most part, it should be laissez-faire.
Can you please provide an answer to my response on the thread you recently created in the DH?

    "Is it Really religion?"
Rather than start this in the Debate Hall (not the thread for it), I'll respond here:

Where in the world have you gotten the idea that Barack Obama's focus is not first and foremost the American public? He's not becoming President for the money--the $400000 Presidential salary is chump change compared to what he could've been earning as a Harvard-educated attorney. He's not doing it because it's easy, just ask fomer President Rutherford B. Hayes, who claimed it was by far the worst job he'd ever had. Cutting through all of the partisan BS, ultimately it's all about the country, which makes it ultimately all about the American public.
