Rewatched Shin Godzilla last night. That Atomic Breath scene is still my favorite scene ever. Unlike most people, I did actually enjoy the large focus on talking. It feels like an accurate handling of how a giant indestructible threat would be dealt with. Dub is a little wonky though, a lot of the emotional scenes left me snickering instead. Probably my second favorite movie ever.

Just got an early birthday present!
Part 1 of my Skull Collection. Reminds me of Lovecrafts Work. Might go for something more Beskinski esque next time.

So, I’m a pretty big SCP fan. I am also terrible with money. Combine that with the fact I’m an idiot.
And you’re left with me spending 175$ on regular edition SCP artbooks.

So uhhhhh... Just found out about this today.
I’ve never wanted anything more in my entire life.

Getting pretty annoyed with people not understanding how a person can be Egyptian with white skin.

As I sit, ready to beat Earthbound again. The familiar chill of seeing him when I was 9 still looms over me. After this, I get to experience all the wonders of Mother 3. But first, its time to fight an old enemy.

Why is it so hard for companies to make a good Godzilla game? I can count like 5 and those are either:
Gamecube games who never got to live up to their full potential.
Japanese Exclusive with a small roster on SNES.
Or a different fighting game that isn’t balanced well and has a small roster on SNES.

Just make a 2D fighting game using mainstays and oddballs. I can’t believe it hasn’t happened yet.

Past 3 days haven’t had any power, its weird to go from being on electronics half the day to not being able to use them at all.
Still, it was nice to enjoy a more quiet week. I read 300 pages of Stephen Kings “The Stand” and can officially confirm its the best book ever.

This is the first time in my life I feel like I’ve been able to afford my gaming hobby.

Normally I’d get 1 or 2 games and play those forever since I couldn’t afford anymore.
Since I took a summer job I’ve been able afford a lot.

I bought the Contra Collection yesterday for the sole reason of wanting to know the series, granted it was 5 dollars but I almost certainly wouldn’t have gotten to experience the series without it.
