Even in an informative paper, a one-sentence paragraph is acceptable. I mean in journalism you can throw them around as if they mean nothing and in literature they happen all the time (during dialogue especially), but as long as its the correct situation, they can be applied to pretty much any style of essay.

I chuckled!Lady gaga's album was 99¢ on amazon yesterday (the digital copy) but it bugged on me so I ran out and bought the actual thing
It was actually worth it, the album is awesome. The salesman tried to get me to buy a 2 year warrenty on the CD and he'd throw in a full Gaga poster.
I'm like "Umm.... what do you think is going to HAPPEN to this cd within a 2 year period? I don't need a warrenty"
And he's like "You said you like gaga, what about the poster"
And I responded "Um.... I said she makes awesome music . . . but she's not someone whose face I want plastered all over my walls"
Am I wrong? I think they try to hard to sell a useless warrenty.
This made me laugh pretty damn hard.

I don't think either starting off at a university or going to a community college to transfer to a university makes much of a difference at the end of that degree.
Community college is like a big version of high school. If you're a slacker and stuff you'll fight right in. I wouldn't bother with community college actually I didn't bother with it ^_^. Get into college and don't waste your time money and credits(since they prob all won't transfer) with a community college.
yeah that happens all the time and you end up retaking course you've already taken. It's best to just a 4-year college and get the degree.
With college costs the way they are now, it's best to make sure you know what you want to do with your life and only actually go to college if you need to for your carreer.

This is true. So many people go to college pile up a massive amount of debt and don't know what to do with it afterwards.

Also I'm in a doctorate major, so my non-doctorate friends have all graduated.... I felt so lonely all year

by this point, I can make good acquaintances and loose friendships with the new people, but the really close friendships take months or years to forge.... don't have that time.
Classical has some amazing pieces. It can lend some pretty impressive elements to other genres too, so that's another reason why I like it. I don't really care for the whole elitist "classical is the only true music there is" kind of thinking many of its fans have, though.
I was so close to posting the Sonic cycle picture again but everyone has seen that too many times already.
