A very reliable source at Namco just sent me some patch notes for Zelda. And wow...I can't believe she was buffed this much! Just look at the list.

-projectiles now move faster and you can store their charge. They also have incredible decreased start up and end lag.
-Forward tilt no longer has a blind spot where it goes right through people.
-characters no longer fall out of smash attacks at random.
-All aerials, especially back air and forward air, have reduced ending lag.
-Down B has been incredibly buffed
-Zelda's run speed has been increased to the point where she's one of the fastest characters in the game.
-Tier lists all say Zelda is top tier now.
-It's Sheik along.
-There are literally two Sheiks on the character selection screen now.
-Congratulations. After 3 games, Zelda is finally a good character in smash bros.

@ Macchiato or anyone else. You guys up for some games? For Glory kind of sucks and it's better to practice with consistently decent people. I'm trash bad but you know what I mean. Plus, it feels lonely seeing no other Zelda players on FG. Even if I do despise Zelda dittos.

I'd really like my Samus to be Top Tier like my Mario, but her bad neutrals and over-reliance of Charged Shot makes her very difficult for me to seriously invest into. I've actually been thinking about investing in ZSS though. Despite her horrid neutral game, she is fun to play and she feels similar to Samus. I think if the patch doesn't buff Samus I may completely settle for ZSS as a secondary.

I don't use Pikachu that much so I didn't put him anywhere.

Although I hate Jigglypuff (as a character), I've been using her for a while now. I suck with her ;-;

If Pikachu ain't top tier then I don't know who is. His flaws seem to be that he has short range and a small selection of strong KO moves (unless you use customs). But once he gets in...he really gets in. I agree with Dabuz when he put pikachu in S tier.

Then again, I still think Shulk is really good and that charizard is balls terrible and worse than Bowser. So my opinion may be outdated.

I'm so bad at now you wouldn't even be able to tell I used to main them, I dunno how people can return to characters after not playing them for awhile or switch between characters with different playstyles. Too hard for me.

I'm getting better at cyclone gimps so I might start putting more time into Luigi, but I don't really care to focus anyone but Rosalina for now...and Mewtwo is of course a planned focus in the near future.

It's rare but occasionally you get that amazing partner that is good, has sportsmanship and doesn't roll spam and camp. Had one of these a few days ago, with no lag, ended up playing all day long through For Glory and we were dead even in stocks throughout the entire session. Otherwise I loathe For Glory and try to find people to play with directly.

Btw does anyone know how many stocks you need to take to get the medal we had in the last picture?
