Awesome! Falco gets to be mid tier now with his chain grabs returning.
As for top/high tiers and being good at them, it depends. So, I don't know how Brawl Meta Knight or SSB4 Diddy functions, so it just become this stupid-fest of how do I use this motherfreaker. I've only played those two for singleplayer and even then, they just feel weird to say the least since I don't like or care for their play style. The characters I'd say that clicked with me the moment I used them would be Fox in all the games, Melee Falco, Brawl Snake, and Brawl Ike. They just work, especially Fox who is stupidly easy to use in this game even without knowing how to use his Jab cancel. He flows so well and if this game had a beginner's archetype of characters with offensive, balanced, and defensive, Fox would be offensive, Mario or (Dark) Pit would be balanced, and Link would be defensive. Little Mac wouldn't be an offensive beginner's character since people know how to fight him now and the reason he wins most of the time is his raw speed and power, but the fact his air game sucks and his recovery sucks makes him less friendly than Fox. With Captain Falcon you have to understand his speed and unlike Fox, his disadvantage isn't good, so you can't miss a beat with him.
Of the games, the top/high tiers I could play well would be Fox in all the current games, Melee Falco, Brawl Snake and Wolf. SSB4 is iffy, but I'm okay with ZSS, Sonic, Luigi, Meta Knight, and Sheik, I don't know how to play Rosalina or Diddy, and I haven't played Ness since I bought the game and got his trophy, so that leaves Fox, Mega Man, Captain Falcon, Peach who's a sleeper, and I guess Pikachu.
