@ BJN39 you listing High Jump Kick (glad we got past the "Hi Jump Kick" era) thematically works for Zelda, but it's actually literal for Falcon's knee IIRC. The move is actually a jumping strike with the knee extended. His moveset kind of makes itself:
-Focus Punch
-Blaze Kick
-High Jump Kick
-Quick Attack

Doing All-Star with Olimar on hard is literally a horrible experience.

Ftilt, dtilt, utilt, dsmash, uair, and bair can all hit Bob-ombs without Yoshi being hurt. Fsmash and usmash make his head and legs disjointed as well, respectively, but that's in the frame data so that should definitely already be known.

Probably, but you'd be confuzzled seeing a dude rolling around in a fight. Knowing For Glory, they'll probably run away, especially if they're Sonic.

You can kind of cheat; sh dair then buffer any aerial except uair, bam guaranteed successful lunar landing. Pretty much the only way to get it consistently online since nair is frame perfect to my knowledge (uair isn't possible with a frame 2 autocancel).

LL nair roll>usmash only kills fastfallers with bad DI though, so it probably won't see use at kill percent. I've used it a few times for damage racking though.

EDIT: Well, it probably works on fatties too, I haven't extensively tested who it can kill against. It isn't actually all fastfallers though, at least not on 3DS; I couldn't connect usmash on Fox at kill percent.

It's cool at first but then you realize you're locked into doing at least 3, it has poor shield pressure and is less safe, can't be angled as sharply for edgeguarding, and does less damage. At that point, you go. "Huh, well that was cute" then go back to using Flamethrower.

I thrive on that kind of obscure Pokémon trivia. I like competitive play to a point; I'm pretty good at it but I have the same tendency there as Smash to deliberately not pick the best chars in lieu of the ones I like, even if they suck. I like the games, but what I really like is the different concepts for Pokémon. Well-designed fan regions can be pretty cool.

Anyway it's.unfortunate there are no thunder kick moves, only Blaze Kick.

@ Spirst what the heck do you do as Pac-Man against Rosalina? I mess around with Pac from time to time and tonight I encountered a player whose only decent character was Rosalina. Gave my novice Pac-Man a nightmare. I can see how the MU would be hard for Abadango.

Also two things are frustrating about Luma: that the added hitlag from hitting it can keep Rosalina safe, and that it can attack as it flies back to Rosalina. Oh, and that it's so stretchy that apparently its FSmash hits way farther than it should (still not Falcon jab levels of bad though, geez).

That cat I'm watching is driving me crazy. She misses my mom (who's been in the hospital and wound rehab for 2.5 months). She, the cat, is soooo needy. She's almost constantly rubbing on me, on my lap and wandering around my apt crying. :/

Any tips for beating the challenge 'get 3 or more KOs vs the rival with Diddy in rival multi man smash'? I got 2 but it's hard to set up anything with 5 miis running around. He's hard to gimp, juggle and setup KOs on because the miis.

The MU isn't easy. Side B can be used to heal if the Rosalina is being too trigger happy with GP and you can bait her to try doing so by dropping hydrants near her. A lot of the time, the Rosalina will feel uncomfortable and try to get rid of it with GP which is where you can input side B to heal. One reason Abadango had a lot of trouble at Apex was because he was trying to play his usual way which involves being slow and reliant on the hydrant/fruits rather than making use of Pacman's good CQC frame data and applying some pressure. Something that helps to know is if you wedge a hydrant in between Luma and Rosalina, Luma will act like a little ****** and be unable to move past the hydrant. This forces Rosalina to go try and get him or GP both of which you can account for with the appropriate punish. Key is particularly good here since it does 15% (which a light character like Rosalina can't really afford to keep taking) and is hard to GP on reaction. I'm thinking following a melon could be something to try since it travels so slow it's bait for GP at which point you can try getting a grab/usmash/whatever. I'd write more but it's 5:36 AM and I'm going to bed now.

All in all, it's an uphill battle but I wouldn't call it unwinnable. You just have to be a lot more mindful with your projectile game and try to bait her out.

That's not bad at all! I don't like it too much when people use sampled dialogues (like in the beginning of A****C), but the songs are definitely pretty catchy and fun to listen to. I'll probably get that album and give it a careful listen later too .
