Too bad GF seems to have selective amnesia
Pokemon following us again when
I WAS SO EXCITED BY THE THOUGHT OF HAVING MY 3D MAWILE FOLLOWING ME AROUND WHAT THE **** GAMEFREAK

AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA

In all seriousness I assume they dropped it due to hardware limitations, I noticed X lagging a lot as is when I played.

To be fair programming models of all the Pokémon following around plus animations when you interact with them would probably take unreasonable amounts of time. I was fully expecting that feature to not return.

It probably wouldn't have worked with the sheer size of certain pokemon, whereas that wasn't an issue with the tiny, consistently sized overworld sprites in previous gens

The mental image of having a Wailord follow you through Lumiose is amusing

Ah that does make sense
But little things like character customization and the Pokemon center and mart being one place should've stayed

Gen 4 had one dumb thing....admittedly I use it and make good use of it, but it's still stupid!

I can agree with most of those, the rivals were pretty bad, the gym leaders outside of Korrina were also really underdeveloped compared to B/W (I love Korrina though, especially in the anime). Team Flare was whatever, though I did like Lysandre a fair bit, I love Megas though.

But I liked all the scenaries in Kalos and the region itself didn't feel dull to me, as confusing as it was to navigate around it, I really like Lumiose as well. The Badlands can go die in a fire though.
The only thing I can thank the anime is .GIFs. Otherwise it's meh. I don't watch it anymore. In fact I stopped watching it the moment they aired B/W. Even though this is a biased post (yes I watched DP), I would watch an X/Y episode right now on YouTube but I honestly don't feel like it. X/Y has turned from Ash and Pikachu go to Kalos to Ash and Serena: Nobody Cares about the Rest.
I'll be honest, Gen 6 was good because 3D models, Trainer customization (which might as well be a mainstay) and Megas. Aside from that it's whatever.

People tend to forget that custom moves only replace four parts of a moveset at most

Granted, Lightweight drastically lowering her kill percents off a dthrow while also basically being Monado Jump+Speed without the damage drop and Super Speed giving her an approach option that cancels into any running option including (pivot) grab off an active hitbox do a lot for the character, but they don't fix problems like her tilts being trash. Those two moves do a fair bit in the way of letting her be more aggressive and kill more efficiently, though.
thats what she said
4 moves don't make a character better. Normals are also a thing, and what you'll be using the most.
I don't main Palutena so I dunno, Speed Specials make her "better", but not Diddy tier.

It probably didn't come off that way with how I was talking up Super Speed and Lightweight, but that's sort of what I was getting at lol

It fixes her approach issue and lets her kill sooner, so replacing those two moves does bring her kit together and improve her more as a character, but it doesn't fix the issues with her normals

For what it's worth I think she probably moves from like #30~40 without customs to #10~15 with, but she definitely isn't the new Diddy or anything

I can see that. Of course customs improve her game and all but her normals are trash save for jab, dash attack, nair, fair, uair, bair, grab and usmash. 10-15 seems possible to me but eventually people will find a way to exploit her weaknesses even if she uses customs.

I dunno, I'm liking the X/Y anime quite a bit. Ash is not a complete moron and is actually fairly competent overall, Clemont and Bonnie are fun little characters and Serena started reaaaally dull, but later became a lot better. The Pokémon they got in the anime are pretty cool too, most of them have a lot of personality even though they have limited screentime. It's still far from being an amazing anime, but I'd say it's pretty good.

Plus the battles in the anime are a joy to watch.

you see describing the badlands as horrid is same as the problem between new and old pokemon games as far as map design goes. WARNING : long self exposition Exploration is as much as finding something extraordinary as it is finding the extraordinary in the ordinary. As a kid, even transferring to a young adult gens 1-4 allowed for a large amount of exploration in the maps. In gen 5(B/W) or 6(X/Y) if there was a big waterfall and you could go up it, then it's part of what you HAVE to do, if not the other side had a total of nothing on the other side of it. Gen 3 was like check out this waterfall! and that one and this one, each and every waterfall I found just let my mind run wild what was on the other side of it, until I got HM waterfall and I went back for my little mini adventures, No stone was left un turned in that game. Areas with large open spaces let the mind wander and allow it to fill in the blanks or think about what is over the horizon. Newer games I feel like I'm being pulled on a kart like I'm a tourist that's only meant to walk down the beaten path where all the attractions are nicely lighted so I can take pretty pretty pictures.
and out of B/W X/Y there are very few times I felt the shock and aw of finding something unique because it was simply placed there for me to find it didn't feel the least bit rewarded.

I still don't get the mindset of weakening Pikachu every time a new region comes.
Gen 4: lol I don't remember
Gen 5: Zekrom absorbs Pikachu's electricity. Snivy beats it
Gen 6: Never watched it so I dunno

I agree with the battles. They were always joy to watch. Kanto and Johto battles were decent (especially the Ice-type Gym Leader in Johto that used a Piloswine). Hoenn battles were cool, Sinnoh battles were love (<3), Unova battles were not bad and Kalos battles are good because of the improved animation.

In terms of Pokémon animes being amazing this is what I would go for:
1. Sinnoh (bias)
2. Hoenn
3. Kanto
4. Johto
5. Kalos
6. Unova

They didn't nerf Pikachu in Kalos actually. I don't think they nerfed him in Sinnoh either, wasn't it just an Unova thing?

I can understand that though I don't remember X/Y being that bad about the lack of exploration in it, but it's been a while since I've really played the game so -shrug-

That's good to hear gurl! I've been alright, just repping our bottom-tier queen as usual & Uni stuff being a pain sometimes but yeah :3

After seeing that in Bulbapedia, yes, it was an Unova-only thing. Not that I mind it though. Iris was trash.

I wonder if an HD remake of Melee will ever happen.

Though if it does, I bet they'll do balance changes and/or bugfixes.

First match, I felt you were jumping right into Little Mac when you were recovering WAY too much & relied on Nayru's & FSmash too much (though there were some uses of the former that worked beautifully like 1:54). I also felt you should try to read the counters more because he did them a good few times in that match but you either triggered it or let him go unpunished. I loved the usage of Ftilt though.

Second match, there isn't much to say, you pressured Little Mac into a corner which was awesome & used the transformations quite well. Just always be cautious of what your opponent will do because there were two times where he shouldn't have hit you at all (7:08 & 8:44 with the latter would probably never work to begin with because of how overly defensive he was playing at that transformation).

Overall, good **** sis!
Thanks for the feedback. I definitely could have played much better the first round, but I always panic when I see my opponent is Little Mac xD

I did use Nayrus too much, but it worked a lot so I kept doing it...mainly cause I didn't know what else to do cause the match-up is terrible lol

with any luck Kirby will be the best character and Fox will be trash.
Also I think they could make HD melee in less then a year if they just use smash 4 assets

That's good! Great to see people still wanting to represent Zelda. She really needs it. ._. And nice! I enjoy Melee too, recently went to a tourney for that game, did okay in it. Haha. :p

umm i can't think of anything since your the only good samus i've ever played so i got nothing. but if you've messed around with Duck Hunt any tips are welcome lol
No I don't know anything about DH. Now that I think about it I think DH could be low tier due to trouble killing. People fall out of his smashes too and he has no other options.

DH is complicated lol i've been on and off messing with him because i like him but im not sure if i want to dedicate time to make him a secondary yet or not due to him being complex.

considering Fsmash can reach as far as Shulks Fsmash/Back slash i'm not surprised people can randomly fall out of it lol to add to the issue is his smashes have no shield push back so if its blocked it hurts XD he's also so set up dependy and i can't seem to get a good set up going for big damage like i want to, but i find him fun to use. not sure if i want to consider him a secondary yet or not.

practicing Greninja combos in training against Diddy

go to start a combo using dtilt

Diddy does his little idle animation hop and goes right over dtilt, making me whiff pointblank

even with nothing controlling him the chimp's an annoying little prick |:

So my parents changed our internet plan and I this k it killed my Wi-Fi connection. I'm a little upset. I'm especially salty ATM because I just went up against this player on FG that I'm sure thought he was hot stuff. He two-stocked my Game & Watch match one. He might have beaten me anyway, but it's hard to say; it's hard to react to counters and his speed in lag. Then he switches to Game & Watch to mirror match me and won that one. I did a poor job landing after UAirs, and he seemed to know what he was doing with the character, but I'm sure lag was affecting how I played.

Plus his tag was Brayan, like Bryan but with an unnecessary extra "a." It bothered me for some reason (I thought it was stupid).

Samus, I like her but she has some obvious flaws. She can kill but they're hard to get or unreliable.

Fsmash - Only kills at the apex
Dsmash - Can it like even kill?
Usmash - Kills pretty decently but they can SDI out
Charge shot - Possibly
Screw Attack - Reliable but kills late
Dtilt - Sure, if your opponents like at 200%

Have you tried the first few hits of uair into the ground to Charge Shot / fsmash? (not sure if you can get the sweetspot from fsmash though) You can also break shields with a fully charged Charge Shot + a Super Missile if your opponent falls for that. Most of the time gimping with nair/dair is a good way to kill with her since her recovery is insane and she can go deep offstage
edit: OH AND utilt can kill if you hit with her foot against aerial opponents

I respect your opinion man

But this almostlegendary guy... I can't respect his opinion about Shulk's n-air and Diddy's u-air. That's like respecting the opinion of someone that thinks 1+1 is 3 and that Shulk is Australian
Wait...Let me get this straight. Shulk isn't Australian?

Where's sweetspot bair at, gorl? That thing kills stupidly early; I remember dying to it at 80% as Dedede once.

Samus still can't kill for **** outside of a charge shot at like 100% but she has the weight to tank though lol. honestly i think that's her main issue.
