Who should I play alongside ?


I keep going through phases with certain characters but I can't decide on a second character, at least for the time being as I will pick up Mewtwo when he is released.

I've historically run and but lately has been fading.

I say you should play the Booty Warrior (AKA Peach). I'm not saying her because I myself am a Peach main, but because I believe she's really good. The only thing is that she's a difficult character to master in this game. I've used Peach in every same game (except 64) and I'm not gonna lie, I had to practice A LOT with Peach for this game because of her many changes. SO OVERALL, pick #BootyWarrior

Anyway, Shulk VS Pikachu is about to come up in the Shulk boards so um.... really sucks to know that the Pika boards are inactive. How am I gonna deal with this? >_>

The only relevant Shulk vs Pikachu footage we have is ESAM (Dammit, he quit) vs Treluh, and K-Prime (AKA your board mod) vs Treluh so well ****. We aren't working with much material either. I guess. All I know is, SolidSense keeps saying that this match up is probably even because the disjoint is a seriously real problem for Pikachu while Pikachu's attack speed is a problem for Shulk.

Edit: There's also Jerm vs Anther but yeah, that's just 3 sets/matches

I can see that. Shulk NAir blocks Thunder Wave. Pika needs to approach with QA and combo from there. Then again Shulk will most likely waste his time on the Speed stance avoiding hits. I don't know a lot about the MU.

does .5% more (both charged and uncharged), but with how little guiding arrows do that .5% actually adds up.

I would ask but eh.

Be like @ FullMoon and @locuan128 and others and invite people to talk about match ups. Have you talked with the mod about trying to kick start activity? pikabunz, heh heh, such a perfect username for a Pikachu mod.

I agree completely with you. Peach may be very technical and have a high learning curve (oh god it took me like a month to learn her in Brawl) but she's definitely worth it! She can also float over grabs which are pretty important in the metagame right now since they lead to so many combos. Count me in on #BootyWarrior <3
Don't forget, she also has "Aww, did I win?" which will make your opponent so humilliated that they play awfully in the next match

All this talk about Peach makes me want to try and pick her up again. I mean, I do really like her but I'm just not sure if I want to invest a whole month in her again. Making a plane crash onto your opponent does sound pretty tempting tho...

can i just say how much I love watching peaches move in this game

QFR allows for such interesting movement options, I really hope more high level Peaches pop up because I could just watch them move around for hours and be entertained

Dtilt only spikes grounded opponents in this game

Also black/gold alt is indeed best alt, and that's coming from someone whose favorite color is white regarding a character with two white palettes.

I s2g someone needs to make a gif of Peach as a plane crashing onto her opponent with Fair xD Trust me, I believe she's in the top 15 or even top 10 characters. She's an amazing character that many people don't know about. I used to think she'd be low tier in this game, but she isn't at all.

I don't know why, but it doesn't seem to meteor mid air opponents in this game. But the sound it makes this time around is SO. GREAT. The sound alone makes up for it xD My favorite palette is white because (TO THE REST OF THE GORLS, I KNOW I BRING SELENA QUINTANILLA UP SO MUCH BUT I CAN'T HELP IT. I LOVE HER TOO MUCH) it reminds me of Selena in her Grammy dress xD

I don't always get bodied, but when I do, I use Dair. Someone photoshop Pit's wings and Palutena's Bow onto him.
