Silas was the only male character I like in Fates. Which is sad. But he's fantastic so it makes up for it.

It's funny how you hope Silas comes to replace Abel, as his daughter's horse, Avel, is named after him.

Wow the new event for OW is way more fun than Junkenstein's. Probably just because you can play as any character now instead of 2 similar hitscan characters, a projectile sniper, and a projectile/hitscan sniper/healer. And I didn't play any of those 4 characters back then which was even worse.
Team Gorl dominated it though. If Britain is ever being attacked by robots, call Lil Puddin @Chainz. @Nammy12 and I and we'll probably just say sassy quotes until the robots explode. It'll work. I promise.

Man, +Atk, 3* Barst is so fun to use even though he has defense bane! Let's check his attack stat after I just got a Brave Axe for him. 30 attack. Wait... *checks 4* Barst who got benched at level 32 a long time ago* 4* Barst's attack is 29.

I know the 3* one has attack boon, but he's 8 levels behind the 4* one! Come on, man! No wonder he had such a freaking hard time when not only was his attack stat screwed, but he is much, much slower than 4*, -Atk, +Spd Raven who has the same attack right now, but 27 speed to his 21 -- both with a Brave Axe. Freaking +Def isn't helping out when Raven's average defense is just 4 under his. UGH.

Welp, Barst just got added to a list of units that was redeemed by a +Atk version and who was first summoned and screwed with -Atk. Maybe Sophia will get added if I can get a decent one and let's see if Odin can be the first to have a neutral attack version be redeemed by a +Atk. Prediction: He probably won't. 4* Barst is totally going to be sacked to 3*, +Atk, -Res Frederick who I've been hesitant on getting his default skills since I don't know if I want to keep his default Wings of Mercy or get a different skill. Brave Axe and Reposition would be neat on him, though, and it's kind of fun having 2 versions of Frederick that I can use; one really aggressive one and the other who doesn't have a lot of SP to play with as a defensive Frederick -- wished I could give him a Silver Axe or something, but he only has 192 SP.

Also, I kind of wished the update came earlier since it would have meant I could have trained the 1* units a bit more for more SP as they would have had an easier time leveling, but whatever. Here's hoping for a flat rate SP update for level 40 units in the future.

Just a reminder that the mysterious Sega countdown with Bayo's feet in shot is less than 5 minutes from counting down. Like, literally 5 minutes left.

The more I think about it the more I'm convinced that was a good idea to release it when they did.

For however much it's actually the latest entry of a pretty long running IP of a different developer, Nier: Automata has basically been billed as the next great Platinum Games title since the game was announced. Plenty of people have been able to play N:A now, the accolades have piled up, and now here's 1080p 60fps Bayonetta, the quintessential Platinum game.

Gaiden / Echos has a branching storyline, one that follows Alm, and one that follows Cecilia. The characters with Alm are part of his team. Cecilia with some characters from her route will probably be the next banner after this.

I was thinking they could let you exchange Crystals for SP on maxed out heroes. To at least make it possible to get SP without having to grind or pray for new units to merge (which Sharena, Alfonse, and Anna are out of luck for rip)

That works too, but a higher SP gain when you're maxed out would be helpful too. If 5* gained 10 per kill, 4* 8 per kill, 3* 6 per kill, 2* 4 per kill, and 1* 3 per kill, it would really help out the higher rarity units. Yes, you shouldn't be able to make your units ultra powerful quickly and get a ton of skills, but it's kind of annoying knowing that some units are screwed if you get their normal skills and end up having little to nothing to work with. That and you can't experiment or have different builds for the one of a kind units. Screwed up and gave and bought Astra for Alfonse? Welp... Screwed up and gave Saizo Swap and feeling it doesn't work with him or your play style? Hope you get another Saizo with the same or better boon/bane and merge the old Saizo with the new one. Or you could have multiple Saizos rocking different builds.

Or they could have a refund system... Lose the skill forever -- well, unless you want it back by sacrificing another unit to get it back again -- and get back the SP spent for it. Probably shouldn't be allowed for default skills. Have it? Bought it? You're stuck with it because that's how Lucina is.

Okay so I've been thinking that we've been needing to do this for a while now.

Create a Zelda Social playlist full of songs that are inundating with sass.

So I'll start it off, but hopefully more gorls can contribute and we can get an actual playlist of 20-30 songs.

1: Hollaback Girl by Gwen Stefani. This one is absolutely mandatory. Don't argue it. (It's the clean version so BJN won't ban me on the first song.)
2: I Told You So by Karmin. The title alone should tell you what this song is. The chorus is unbelievably sassT and catchy.
3: Smash Brothers by High Maintenance. Debated a bit on adding this but I think there's enough sass here for it to quality. Plus the title refers to the game Zelda's trash in even though almost none of the lyrics relate to the title, so it's even better imo.

Afternoon girls. How's everyone doing?

Been out shopping and I finally got myself Neo Turf Masters and Blaster Master Zero, so I'm looking forward to both of those games. Along with them, I bought myself a screen protector and a carry case for my Switch. Funny thing was, I also went into the gaming store and asked if they got any Yu-Gi-Oh! cards, they pulled out 13 Booster Packs which were from a clear box with "Yu-Gi-Oh!" plastered on it, we quickly checked before buying and turned out they were Cardfight Vanguard cards. I was laughing from it.

And I treated myself and my Dad out to lunch as well. It was a very nice.

the only brave tome is Dire Thunder which is a blue legendary tome besides -speed isn't that bad assuming Merric doesn't have -4 speed he gets 29 speed which is still fast enough not to get doubled by most things and excalibur is basically the 3rd best tome in the game

Splatoon 2 looks pretty fresh. I've only played Splatoon like 4 times though because of school however, barely any of my Wii U games have gotten much playtime because of that. Hopefully with the Switch being more portable I can make more use of it.

I'm glad that we're getting a new playable character it seems. I hope that the 3rd gameplay style is a 3D non-boost gameplay, maybe borrowing cues from Sonic/Shadow adventure levels and Sonic Lost World, or maybe Heroes. Classic Sonic gameplay was only 15 secs and Green Hill Zone again. Not too impressed with that, and I don't have much to look forward to in particular there since it will most likely just be Generations-like gameplay again.

Still interested in Ever Oasis, though the new 40-second trailer didn't do anything for me.

Kinda wanna get Monopoly depending on how much it costs, the Switch is perfect for that.

Disgaea 5 coming to the Switch is good.

ARMS of course is awesome!

The Lady Is A Tramp. Specifically, this is the Ella Fitzgerald cover from her 1960 "Ella in Berlin: Mack the Knife" live album. It's probably one of my favorite jazz vocal albums.
Fever. The jazz standard that's been covered by basically near every artist in the past 60 years. Instead of looking at Beyonce or Madonna's version, this is one of the first really famous covers of it, by the great Peggy Lee in the late 1950s who rewrote half the lyrics that most of the covers to come after her used at the standard.
Shiki No Uta. As I've said before, in terms of hip-hop coming from the electronica / chill side of things, Nujabes was a legend, who also was in charge of the Samurai Champloo soundtrack. This is an english cover of the Samurai Champloo ending song, and she nails it out of the park. A piece of trivia of this song is that the Japanese singer infamously is incapable of singing it outside of a studio setting. I'd bet even @Chainz. would like it.
Bloom. This is a song by an electronica musician named Pogo. He his music / music videos is basically a bass line with all the notes on top of it being sound effects and words said in various movies, the majority of them being from Disney. While I think Bloom is the one that works best for the playlist, I also recommend ya'll give Upular a listen, using sounds from the Pixar movie "Up". It's my favorite work of his.
Bulletproof. By La Roux. It's a good enough song I guess, but tbh I think I'm only recommending it because the album cover looks like a somewhat more effeminate Leffen.
Single Ladies. The Beyonce classic. As essential at Hollaback Girl.
Oh My God. By Mark Ronson, featuring Lilly Allen. The music video is both incredibly sassy, and one huge homage to the iconic Jessica Rabbit scene from 1988 film "Who Framed Roger Rabbit?". Mark Ronson is also the dude who did the song and music video for "Uptown Funk" with Bruno Mars.

I was not expecting Fate/extella. I miiiight get that.

Eh. I'm arguably morally obligated to purchase it at some point because it's Fate related, but I really hope it's not just a port of the PS4/Vita game. It was a nice first try at a Mousu type game by Marvelous, but coming to the Switch puts it in immediate competition with an actual Mousu game in Fire Emblem Warriors.

Maybe if they revised the script. The game's got more text than a good amount of JRPGs.

Lorde , I overlooked this since I thought people would have talked about it already, but if you want a decent build with Beruka, you could just basically make her Subaki which Narcian is kind of is, but he's not as bulky as Beruka and Subaki, as fast as Subaki, or easily available since he is a GHB unit. Basically, if you have a spare Arthur, give her Emerald Axe, Swap, and maybe Lancebreaker. Also, give her Bonfire to use her high defense. If you don't give her Lancebreaker, then give her Quick Riposte from a spare Subaki. Beruka's low speed won't matter if she's bulky enough to stay above both skills' threshold. Lancebreaker is more flexible in that she can attack instead of having to be attacked for Quick Riposte to work, but Quick Riposte is also more flexible in that it affects all units instead of lance units. Emerald Axe just ups her damage against and lowers the damage she takes from blues at the cost of the opposite happening to reds, but you could stick with Killer Axe which is what the first build I linked you a while back does. Beruka's attack is all right; it's the same as Narcian's who gets a boost against blues and is higher than Subaki's unless she has attack bane, but compared to the other wyvern flyers, her attack is low as both Camilla and Narcian are faster with weapons that "up" their damage in some way.

Bashmically if it mirrors HW since both were announced at around the same time (late December/early January) and the expected release date is prolly near HW's release date, we can expect the next announcement in... late June.

So yeah, E3 maybe if we're lucky, otherwise a bit after it. But even then, HW had more announced initially. Link was shown with the Hylian Sword and Magic Rod, Impa and Zelda were shown off in the background, and King Dodongo was there. This time we only have Chrom being basic as always.
