Anyway, on to FE Heroes since there is a new banner... A lot of the heroes kind of suck. They all have new gimmicks or abilities to use, and that's just as far as their appeal takes them. Faye is super cute at least and Red Oboro-Dude is kinda cute I guess. But Faye really looks like the kind of girl who would go all Yandere Mode on people if they went near her precious Alm.
Lukas's attack art makes him look like a different person to me. He reminds me of the titans in Attack on Titan which is both hilarious and quite disturbing... Oh. That must explain his Fortress Def then! He's... THE ARMORED TITAN! DUN DUN DUUUUUH.
Their skills reminds me of guerilla warfare which is cool and works with how FE generally has you using a small group of units against larger groups of units. In practice, might not be useful or very situational like you really need stupid attack to mitigate Fortress Def 3's effect unless you want to do no damage and be a fortress. A defense boon Draug with Fortress Def would be stupidly hilarious. Speaking of which, I like how the 1.2.0 update made it so if a unit takes no damage, they don't react unlike before which was a bit hilarious at times seeing a unit freak out taking 0 damage. Maybe there can be an update where it has the no damage sound.
As units, sucks that Lukas continues to make Oboro worse -- Donnel and Ephraim can actually do the same builds Oboro does, but better. Clair is pretty much a resistance Subaki which is neat, but then I remember Florina exists. She now has to compete with Clair, Est, and Shanna as fellow high resistance Pegasus Knights and she pretty much doesn't do well considering her average attack and below-average speed to the others who at worst, have low attack (Clair) and average speed (Est). They're all faster than her and hit as hard or even harder considering their speed while having just as good or pretty much the same resistance. That's just sad. Don't care about Alm other than he's the only leftie and Faye, well, she's a reminder of how the this game hates me when it comes to getting archers. She's also a reminder of another yandere who refuses to be on my team or another love-stricken woman who also refuses to be on my team.
Edit: Whoa, Cherche can easily be made into an amazing unit with just 3 skills: Bonfire, Silver Axe, and Quick Riposte. It's not a Brave Axe build which I'm avoiding since it seems like the thing to do. Brave Axe would benefit more from Attack +3 being swapped with Death Blow 3, Fury, or L&D, and having a -breaker skill or Drag Back or Hit and Run, but this is still pretty good. Simple too. Hit hard, counter hard.
Oboro takes a lot of skills, but is straightforward, Cherche just needs 3 and she's set, pretty sure Cain only needs Axebreaker to be an effective anti-axe unit like how Abel is an anti-sword unit, and then there's Selena. Dear Naga, what will I do with you, you iron-bodied tsundere?
